All Solis Winery wines are grown and produced at the Vanni Estate Vineyard in Gilroy in the heart of the Santa Clara Valley, California's oldest continuous wine growing region. From planting the vines and harvesting the grapes to producing and bottling the wines, everything is done on-site. Nothing ever leaves the property-until bottles go home with happy customers!

Happened to stop by after visiting another winery. It has a nice tasting room with snacks, gift items, etc. it has a really nice outside area to sit & enjoy the beautiful vines. There was live music which is always a treat. My husband ordered a flight I just ordered a glass of the white. Only complaint is that the pours on a flight are the smallest I've ever seen. Barely one gulp of wine. Other than that it is a lovely & relaxing place to hang out. We also ordered the charcuterie board. Added plus-it's dog friendly

We were introduced to this winery by some friends and really appreciate the recommendation. We joined the wine club because no matter what they make, it is tasty. We love to spend an afternoon at the winery with friends on their patio overlooking the vineyards and mountains. As long as one of the party busses aren't there at the same time, it is a really relaxing and rejuvenating experience. They have special days throughout the year like sausage and syrah. Those are fun too.

Solis Winery is a solid winery along the Hecker Pass Highway. Great location as there are several other wineries within a 5

They offer a bar-style tasting as well as patio tasting; parties can bring their own foods for the patio tasting or opt to buy Foustman's salami and assorted snacks inside the main lounge to enjoy outside. There is a sign that says 21+ only, but there was a family with children on the deck while I was there. Not sure if this is always the case but it didn't bother me. Patio seating is nice and shady, but if you bring snacks watch out for the bees -

Once a month Liz holds an amazing yoga class in front of the patio of the winery, which is closed to the public during the class so it's very quiet.
The class is also followed by wine tasting!

The setting and atmosphere are very peaceful and the owner and the staff are super friendly.
Stunningly delicious wines from this family-owned and operated winery, in my favorite list are; Roseo, Fiano, and Merlot, and of course, how can I forget the Sangiovese!! also, Tara is a great asset to the winery, pet-friendly and well-trained staff.
The attention they put into every release is evident from the look to the nose and the taste.
Take your time and enjoy every aspect of the experience.

Mediocre Wine and substandard service!! Before today I had been a member for several years. I was honestly only a member there because it's around the corner from my house!
Today, I met several friends who had never been there before. I thought it would be a cool experience for them to do a tasting. My friends arrived before me and had a not so pleasant welcoming with the person behind the bar who was allegedly one of the "owners." They opted for a glass of wine because they did not want to deal with the server's attitude.

This winery is amazing! I love the atmosphere! It's very welcoming! It's quiet and awesome! When there's music, it's unique and awesome! I love coming here, therefore I became a wine club member. The wine is outstanding. It's perfect. I love their rosé and Syrah! Definitely recommend it! Check it out when you're in gilroy, Ca down Hecker Pass!

I’m not the biggest rosé fan, but their rosé of Sangiovese whispered sweet nothings in my ear! It is absolutely sublime. It reminds me of a raspberry or strawberry cream sickle but obviously for adults and in wine form. The back patio is lovely and the service was good, too! You really can’t go wrong with sitting here on a sunny day!

We have been members of Solis Winery for several years. If you live in San Jose, they are just a quick zip away in Gilroy so its a wonderful afternoon scenic get away. The team is always warm and welcoming and I understand they grow, harvest, produce and offer tastings all right there. (Most others outsource grapes.) The Vino Roseo di Sangiovese is one of my favorites and I can't wait for my next shipment!

This winery is one of my favorites! I try and go here every time I'm in town. The scenery is very nice and establishment is clean. My family and I enjoy sipping on our wine while sitting down and enjoying the nature that surrounds us. I highly recommend coming here to relax and have a great time with friends and/or family. We are from Southern California and we make the drive up here to have quality time with family.

I have been a wine club member for over 15 years and I have never received such a poor level of service. So I am now canceling my membership!
This afternoon, I called at 5:01 to see if I could come in and get my wine club shipments and was told no (even though I was only 5 minutes away and there were still people in the tasting room.)
As I explained to Megan on the phone, I live in Santa Clara and it is difficult for me to get down to Gilroy. I will not be making another to this winery. There are many others to choose from who treat their members better.

Though Yelp has what is normally way too many 1 & 2 star reviews for this place within the past couple of years, it did not stop me from visiting.
Beautiful grounds - front, back, sides. Indoors very pleasant. So where's the stuffy snobby attitudes? We looked so hard and when we couldn't find any I simply asked "Where are the workers with attitude? Were they fired and replaced by the two of you ? (Dan & Staci) ". Staci replied with "I've been here for 6 years ...".
Solis is, in our opinion, the best Santa Clara County winery to date. Great wine, outstanding
