For over 10 years, Blenheim Vineyards has been crafting quality and sustainable 100% Virginia grown wines and managing 32 acres of estate vineyards. Our Blenheim, Claim, and Seaview Vineyards posess distinctive terroir and varying soils to reflect our wines place of origin.
The history of Blenheim Farm dates back to 1730, when John Carter, Secretary of the Colony of Virginia and eldest son of Robert "King" Carter, obtained a patent for 9,350 acres northeast of present-day Carter's Bridge in what is now Albemarle County.It was here that John Carter maintained Carter's Mill on the North Hardware River, and his son Edward built the first Blenheim house prior to 1799.

Manages and oversees the winery, tasting room, and vineyards, while also making the wines at Blenheim Vineyards since 2008. Manages the wholesale distribution of our wines, social media and marketing, and winery events since 2013. Manages and oversees our estate vineyards and additional vineyard relationships.
Limited release wines and merchandise made by Blenheim Vineyards with label design by Dave Matthews in support of World Central Kitchen, known around the globe as "Food First Responders" serving millions of meals each year. A portion of proceeds will be donated to serve healthy meals for first responders and others in need.

Our last reservation or walk-in seated at 3pm. At this time we allow groups up to 16 people to reserve a space in our large group area in the field overlooking the vineyard.
Virginia wine enthusiast Reggie Leonard selected four of his favorite Blenheim wines plus two wines from Midland and Lightwell Survey to pair with holiday gatherings, shared meals, and cooler temps. We will also include a seasonal curated cheese & charcuterie board by Kaas & Cure to pair with these selected wines.

The seating areas were very nice & the people also, very nice.
The wine menu, was a bit confusing. Some wines you could get by the glass, or bottle. Others on tap or take home a growler. Others- bottle only, but some selections were on both sides of the menu.
