Our downtown locations are within walking distance to the University of Iowa campus, downtown shopping and eating establishments and libraries. Our Coralville properties are located near the Coral Ridge Mall, Coralville Recreation Center and S.T. Morrison Park.
Many of our properties are one-of-a-kind, unique buildings with an individual style. Many are turn of the century homes renovated to incorporate modern conveniences while retaining their historic atmosphere. A full-time maintenance staff is available, and we offer 24-hour emergency maintenance service.

Services
The completed application can be submitted in person to our office, or emailed to us at jjapartments@gmail.com. Anyone 18 yrs of age and older planning to live in the unit will need to complete an application. We require a minimum credit score and good rental history (if you have rented previously).
All applicants must fully complete an application. We check references for all applicants. All applicants must be approved. We do not rent to the first applicant(s), we rent to the best applicant(s). We may require a co-signer. Unit is not taken off the market until ALL TENANTS have signed lease and security deposit is PAID IN FULL.

Alright overall. When I initially moved in the AC unit was broken and it took a month for them to come and replace it, in August. Besides that any other situations were handled relatively fine. However, me and my girlfriend cleaned our apartment for 2 hours and still got charged for them supposedly cleaning a small one bedroom apartment for an additional 4 hours ($150 charge). Which is even more ridiculous given the cleanliness of the apartment when I moved in.

Called to get my tub fixed, as it was continuously draining. Maintenance said the fixed the tub, was not fixed. My AC needed fixed as well, they did not give me a 24 hour notice before coming in. On Monday they told me the maintanence guy would be coming “maybe Wednesday-Friday sometime”, I specifically asked they give me a 24 hour phone call notice since they didn’t know, did not get one. Maintenance man just showed up at my apartment and said he’d be back the next day, never came. When I called to get an update because I didn’t want him just walking into my apartment again unannounced
