I lived in one of their apartments for 1 year and one of their rental houses for 3 years. Throughout that time they consistently ignored maintenance requests by marking them as complete when they hadn't even sent someone out to check the problem. We had a wire hanging in our backyard for over a month and had to submit THREE SEPARATE REQUESTS before they sent someone out. See the attached picture for proof, it's straight from their online portal.

Moved into an apartment that had stains all over the carpet and did not seem clean. Then 5 days after move in we got the notice that we had to move out in 2 months. How could you let people sign a lease for a building you know is going to be torn down in the near future. This is a very greedy company.

Moved into a Westwinds property this fall and it has been a nightmare. House was not nearly move-in ready and needed a week of multiple maintenance visits to even be habitable. One of the “bedrooms” was actually a closetless office, and it took nearly a month for them to install shelves so I can have space to store my clothes. We are currently without A/C, and have been trying to get a new unit in our house for over 2 months. Bad experience!!!!
This is the first time in my life leaving a review. I wish I had zero stars to give them.
We rented a single house for only three months. The house was stink, terrible, and dirty when we moved in. It took us two days to clean all the house, basement, and garage. We are glad that we only live there for three months because the stink in báement will affect our health. Before moving out, we all cleaned the house, check everything to make sure they're all in excellent condition for the next tenant. But they charged me $245 for the cleaning service. In addition, they charged $235

I had a 10 year relationship with Westwinds as they managed my condo rental, and then as realtor when I decided to sell. Alway professional and responsive as a property manager, even helped smooth some tenant relations. They simply do not care if their buildings are broken into. We’ve been trying to get them to do something as simple as just putting plates on the doors and changing the codes, but they haven’t. I can only come to the conclusion that they don’t care about the safety of their residents.

I woke up yesterday to wet carpet in the basement of my townhome. I couldn’t figure out where the water was coming from so I couldn’t even diagnose the problem. I called Westwinds as they manage my HOA and even though I own, Nick from maintenance came right away to look at it. I felt very foolish for not being able to see where the leak came from… but Nick was very professional, kind, was wearing a mask and was able to diagnose the issue right away and fixed it immediately.
