Critical: Professionalism
I called got a quote for moving a dining room set. Jerry quoted me $275.00 for the move. The bill came to $408.00. Not thrilled at the almost 50% jump in cost. Will not refer or recommend. I don't like feeling taken advantage of. If I did this to my clients I would not have any!

Initially, we stored our household belongings with this company and when it came time to move, used this company as well. Noted that in the truck, our belongings were padded and packed well. The guys were efficient yet careful with moving the furniture into the house. We had absolutely NO damage to our furniture or other boxed belongings. There was no interior house damage either. We had 7,000 pounds (a two-bedroom apartment) of household goods to move and the men were able to get all the goods moved into the house in two (2) hours. The men would have reassembled our furniture if we needed but

Professional, clean, efficient and meticulous.
3 movers came by with a side loading moving truck. They were masked, courteous and took very good care of both my furniture and my house. No damage to anything. THey placed everything where I wanted and wrapped and padded everything before loading the truck.
This was much different from my experience with all pro movers in Eastpointe who were careless, damaged walls and floors and didn’t much care what they were doing.
I will be using grosse pointe movers from now on. Thank you again.

Grosse Pointe Moving and Storage is fantastic. I have used them several times now for moves within the Pointes, most recently today, and they are always very helpful and friendly but more importantly, very knowledgeable about furniture - new and old. They moved several complicated pieces with ease, safely, without any damage. I would recommend 10 of 10 every time. I have worked with John twice and he is fantastic - a packing magician. You wont find a better value anywhere else.

My family recently moved our aged parents to a new care facility outstate. Grosse Pointe Moving and Storage accommodated the complexity caused by a compacted timeline and multiple locations with ease and efficiency while treating their belongings with care. We appreciated the responsiveness and patience from Jerry and Gretchen at a difficult time.
Their moving personnel were kind, considerate, and sensitive to the residents and staff of the assisted living facility. They were very careful with mask-wearing and PPD during these pandemic times.
