I was rather put off when I saw some of the previous negative reviews. But in a pinch this was the only company that was highly responsive to my problem --getting a 250-plus pound Nordictrack treadmill base from my garage to my basement quickly. I got my estimate Monday along with four or five others. This was one of two companies that could do the job in the next couple days. D&D was a good bit pricier than the other one, but responded more promptly on Tuesday when I needed to finalize arrangements. Three guys showed up on Wednesday, handled the move in minutes and asked if I had any other

Leave D&D alone and make sure your items are actually in storage before you pay. Don't ask! Make an appointment before you pay and be sure they know where your items are! Damon repeatedly assured me over the phone that my items were there! I made an appointment to see my storage, his son and I walked through 4 floors and guess what, NO STORAGE, yet he requested I make payment without an invoice, which didnt happen. Don't trust this company! He told me to come up there and KNEW my storage was gone! His son, Damon Jr advised me to call back he would recheck due to the electrity being out! Ive called

Hired muscle is The name they are using but it still ran by the same and competent people that took the paint off my walls brought my bed broke my refrigerator did more damage than it cost to move me so now I’m waiting for the courts to open so that I can sue them for the cost of my bed in my refrigerator do not ever hire hired muscle or D and D moving and storage Co. dumb and dumber downright dirty disrespectful

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. Let me start out by saying I don't write bad reviews, nor have I ever in my life gotten into a verbal altercation with anyone before I had this incident talking to the owner of this company, Damian. I hired this company 3 weeks ago to move me out of my home. With the move scheduled for 3 days from now, I called to confirm everything was set up and the price we agreed upon during our earlier conversation. I was informed by Damian that there would be an additional fee to dispose of some furniture I needed disposed of. This was not our agreed upon cost

I can't recommended D&D Moving & Storage enough. They are an absolute world-class team and amenity right here in the city. The full service storage solution where there's always someone you can call to pull something from your storage area, or simply dropping off items that they take up for you; is such an awesome thing. Each and every person on their team is kind, courteous, and prompt to deal with. I haven't used their moving services, but can only imagine it is more of the same. I recommend D&D over and over again to family and friends and know you'll have a similar and amazing experience.

My household has used D&D several times now with great results. They moved a few cast iron radiators and a massive cast iron bath tub off the second floor during some renovations for us previously - quickly and carefully. Most recently, they handled my local move. The team showed up on time, were quick and careful, and made sure to check in regularly so everything got placed where I'd need it. Damon showed up in person to check progress early on, and was incredibly helpful when I both had to schedule last minute AND reschedule because of a plumbing woe at the new house. Extremely bad experience. Being that I live out of state, I scheduled a remote move for my mom. I called and scheduled the move a month in advance. I gave a DETAILED explanation of the items that would need to be moved, disassembled / reassembled, the location of my mom's apartment and the destination of the move. I was assured that this would be a relatively quick job and quoted a price of approx. $480 for three hours with a THREE MAN team and a LARGE truck. Along with this scheduling, I gave my mom's contact information so that she can be reached upon arrival. A week before the move

When hiring movers, it can be a nightmare because you have no idea what you're getting into until they arrive. However, upon meeting them on arrival, I liked them! I had 4 guys. They were professional, courteous and fast! There was a flat rate for 3 hours (typical move), and $100 each additional hour. They didn't drag their feet or good off, so they could try to get extra money! They are good people, and all my furniture, etc., arrived safely without anything being broken because they took care to wrap items that needed it.

Unfortunately, my experience with D & D Moving and Storage was pretty terrible. Two broken items, a missing couch leg, and very late reply time from the manager. I had to hire other movers to deliver my items from the storage unit to my home the day of because they had vehicle issues. When the other movers arrived, they found the truck with my belongings unlocked with no one around on the side of the road. My items were never shrink wrapped, and several items were missing.
