We have made every effort to make Madison Memorial Home bright, welcoming & comfortable, while providing families a warm and dignified place in which to commemorate the life of a loved one. The funeral home has been recently renovated and redecorated, and we have combined fresh, contemporary elements while remaining sympathetic to the character of the 1860 historic home.

Doug and his staff are compassionate, caring, professional people who help with a very difficult situation and make it tolerable. Every detail is handled with love and care which helps the surviving family members make decisions with the best interest of the deceased which in this case was my mom. I am forever grateful to Doug and his staff.

It is not easy to enter a memorial home to discuss the death of anyone. In this case it was my mother, who had lived a long life, so I wanted to give her a beautiful send off. This was exactly what we received. Doug was compassionate and understanding from the start and was a solid presence during the entire process, making sure all plans went smoothly. I would also give 10 stars if I could. A very positive experience.

How to explain the most heartfelt and personalized care I received from Madison Memorial Home? Impossible. Any and everything Doug and his staff could do for me they did. For my mother and father upon their passing but even before. While my Dad was still alive Doug was always there for him. The best people you can have help your family. Gog Bless you Doug.

It was the best resting place for my beautiful daughter, they were so compassionate and understanding. They did a beautiful job of dressing and making my daughter look so beautiful. The worst possible event of losing your child happens and where do you turn? I was recommended by a close friend to go and see Doug at Madison Memorial.
From the first conversation back almost 1 year ago, to this very day, it was the one constant comfort in this mess that was thrown at me. I cannot say enough good things about Doug and his entire staff. He was there w our family and got us through that week, but he remains w us and still helps w questions or concerns about anything. One day about a month or so later, I get an unexpected delivery and it’s a gorgeous blanket w my son’s picture

Doug and Victoria were a pleasure to work with. The level of compassion and sincere caring for our family during the loss of our mother was immeasurable. They took care of every detail and took as much of the burden off of us the family as possible.
The dignity that they gave our mom in her final preparations from her hair, to her makeup to her clothing made her look so at peace and just like herself.
We are once again working with them for the purchase and placement of her monument and just as with her services nothing but compassion and care have been shown and given.

Doug and Victoria took such great care of my father's final affairs. If I could give Madison Memorial Home 100 stars on this rating, I would, without hesitation. We lost my dad due complications from COVID & to say the loss was a tough one to bear would be a severe understatement. Doug and his team were so compassionate and attentive during this difficult time -- and they continue to be of service months later. They've gone above and beyond (for example, by ensuring our awareness of programs offering aid in COVID-related funeral expenses). Every interaction with Doug and team is handled with professionalism

I would give Madison Memorial Home 10 stars if I could. Doug is one of the nicest persons we had ever met. His professionalism, compassion, understanding and caring made a very sad and very daunting task, easier. He helped us throughout the process, including the cemetery process, and was always available to reach immediately by phone or email. We had been taking care of my mother at home and she very recently passed away. We feel the emptiness, but Doug made everything about her service so beautiful and peaceful. Doug and staff were so compassionate, responsive and helpful to my family and I every step of the way through this difficult time. Their assistance with the photographs and the large screen TVs throughout made such a nice impact and we appreciate all their professionalism. The renovations are beautiful, well thought out and a definite improvement.
