Services
We treasured a childhood growing up on a farm in Iowa and the qualities and life lessons it gave. We wanted this for our three daughters (Natasha, Jordan, and Aspen). With the future in mind we wanted to create a sustainable and responsible farm. That is why we started farming organically in 2003 and continue to move toward biodynamic practices.
Come out and see why a visit to Youngberg Hill is a unique and memorable experience! From our vineyards to the making of our wine to our tasting room, every step of the process is full of purpose and care to produce the highest quality wine for you to enjoy. Founded in 1989, Youngberg Hill Vineyards has a clear vision for the work and commitment that would be required to create the best wines possible.
Exit onto I-5 North to the FIRST exit Tualatin-Sherwood Road and proceed left (west) to Highway 99W. Turn left (south) at Highway 99W through Newberg and Dundee to the Hwy 18 bypass (toward coast/flashing yellow light) drive approx. 9 miles. Once past McMinnville, turn Right on Masonville Road and follow the blue signs 2 miles to Youngberg Hill Road, turn right for 1/2 mile.
Walk-In Tasting: We currently take walk-in wine tastings in our tasting room. No reservations required! We are serving various wines while available which includes Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Rose', Sparking, and Chardonnay. We also offer wine by the glass and wine by the bottle. Youngberg Hill is a lovely location. My husband and I planned our wedding at their vineyard and use of their inn. We were taken in by the beauty of the vineyard, however, working with Youngberg Hill Events and Winery has been a nightmare.
With Covid-19 we were unable to hold our wedding event and they would not return the $4,900 deposit. So on 4/12/21 my spouse and I went to Small Claims court and the judge ruled in our favor against Youngberg Hill Events.
Our attorney contacted Youngberg Hill and they have neither responded nor paid their debt. We would hate for this to happen to anybody else

The views are lovely and the property has magnificent potential. Also, some of the staff are very on point, but this is not true of everyone. The following needs to be addressed for this place to realize its promise:
1) The basement room--the Cellar--is next to a mechanical room. In addition to hearing various plumbing noises throughout your stay, there are various machine sounds coming from the locked room next door. None of this is disclosed on the website or in advance of the visit. Also, there are stains on the bathroom counter because the fixtures are old and worn. And the television has

Really like this location! They have awesome views of the valley and cascades in the distance. Great place to bring a packed lunch and spend some time with friends. Be sure to bring a hat and sunglasses as there isn't a lot of shade on the deck. The Scottish highland cows are adorable too- love little Nutmeg!

UNBELIEVABLE view and landscapes. Had the pleasure of being introduced to the facilities for the celebration of life of an old friend. Despite a bit of high level smoke from wildfires the view was expansive, deep, beautiful, and just breathtaking.
Those imbibing loved the products, and the staff were wonderful.
But the view... just go for the view and enjoy yourself. The rest will take care of itself.

We had the absolute best time staying at Youngberg Hill Inn last weekend. The wine was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and the property is gorgeous. Wayne, the owner, walks around the property greeting guests and answering questions about the wine. Nikki is an absolute treasure! She was funny, knowledgeable, and so helpful. She even drove us around the property on a tour, and took pictures of our family enjoying the wine. We are already planning our next trip to Youngberg Hill. Book your trip now for a one of a kind experience in Willamette Valley!

I have visited wine country in multiple regions of the US and Italy and had one of the BEST experiences here at Youngberg. Molly was so knowledgeable and genuinely excited to talk about and share their wines which also happened to be delicious! The property is gorgeous and they have two Scottish Highland Cows that roam the property and contribute to their sustainability practices. What more could you want in a wine tasting experience??

Wine Wednesday's = a MUST!!! What a beautiful evening full of great wine, incredible views, delicious food, live music, etc. Every Wednesday night during the summer. They have a food truck there (The Wandering Vine - see pic for menu) and several wine options for sale by the glass or bottle. Also can bring your own food.

Absolutely top notch spending a night at Youngberg Hill, with its hilltop location and spectacular views of the vineyards. Tasting room staff were great, and guided us through tasting two flights in air-conditioned comfort (it was over 100 degrees outside). I would highly recommend this as a quintessential Willamette Valley wine experience.

Came for a mid-week getaway with my husband and we absolutely loved our stay. The view was absolutely amazing and the peace and calm that we were able to enjoy was such a treat. Starting our morning with such an incredible view and an amazing breakfast was absolutely splendid. The wine tasting was a fun adventure (we loved the chardonnay ❤️) which we ended with dancing in their new gazebo while the sun set. We are looking forward to returning next year 😄

My big day was a total dream. I enjoyed Youngberg Hill as a venue and I have stayed as a guest and it has been great. Some of these past reviews were brutal and I had some anxiety but none of it was warranted regarding my overall experience. I think my take on things at this point is that Nicolette is a strong business woman, as a couple they run a tight ship, well experienced. The guidelines on contract are on par with keeping their property in excellent shape and ran to the high-end expectation that it meets. If you fall in love with the view but can't cut the check don't book your wedding here

For those visiting this page, please notice a trend in the dates of the reviews. As with anything you should look for the more recent reviews, not the ones the business pins to the top.
This business has taken advantage of young couples who attempted to have their wedding in 2020. The business lied about the ability to reschedule in order to maximize the amount of money they could get from young couples who were relying on their representations. The strategy was to book as many weddings as possible to maximize revenue regardless of the pandemic. Further I know this is unique to them because no

TERRIBLE OWNERS NICOLETTE AND WAYNE BAILEY but spectacular view. If you want to host your wedding here, please read before committing. My husband and I are very easy going and usually do not write any bad reviews on Yelp. However, this service was just unacceptable and it needs to be shared.
We hosted a destination wedding at Youngberg Hill. We met in McMinnville so we wanted to pick an amazing venue for our guests in the area where we fell in love. 75 of the 85 guests traveled thousands of miles to be there with us on our special day.
NICOLETTE BAILEY was a NIGHTMARE to work with from mid

Absolutely stunning property. Not is it only one of the only bed and breakfast wineries, but it’s probably the nicest property view. Where to begin. The staff doing an AMAZING job helping me plan my proposal/birthday surprise for my now fiancé. The references on eagle eye for an amazing drone video, and professional photos. An absolutely killer breakfast! Last but not least - the Highland Cows on property! 10 stars for this place. Great wine, awesome prices.. Glad we have such an amazing place to visit all the time to reflect on memories of the stay! Cant recommend enough. Thanks all!

The owner keeps taking down negative reviews from Yelp and other sites, but the truth needs to come out. Here's the truth:
Avoid this place like the plague. They are taking advantage of couples during the Covid pandemic, our daughter and her then-fiance being one of them. Nicolette Bailey, the owner, is retaining thousands of dollars in fees and other charges for weddings that cannot safely take place. And what do the couples get in return? Nothing but aggravation and heartache. How do I know? I toured the place with them, have the contract, and paid for half of the wedding, which never

Perfect place to stay in McMinnville for the ultimate relaxation weekend. We were able to stay here on our Oregon+Seattle roadtrip and were so grateful we did! This unfortunately had to be the last stop on our trip as we had to cancel the second half due to the fires and evacuations throughout Oregon :( The views are hard to beat and you feel right at home since everyone is so friendly. We went for a wine tasting right as we arrived which was a perfect start to our stay!
Not only are the rooms cozy, it makes you feel like you are staying in a cabin! It is the ideal mix of cabin vibes inside with

Beautiful views and amazing service!
Becky was so lovely that we decided to stay a second night. She was able to answer all of our questions and made the entire experience comfortable and relaxing. She greeted us upon arrival and stayed to provide us with a full tasting experience. She also provided great dining recommendations for us in town.
We loved our room, clean and well kept with windows all around. Breakfast was great and brought up to our room as well ( an adjustment to covid I believe).
The grounds and views are absolutely stunning. We were able to enjoy a glass of wine on the Adirondack
