WalkThrough NY was founded by Arthur Perez. Arthur Perez is a Certified Home Inspector for New York State and Connecticut and Home Inspection Instructor, teaching the course in Home Inspection at the New York Real Estate and Insurance Institute. For more than 30 years he managed luxury co-ops and condominium properties in the New York Metropolitan area before starting WalkThrough NY to be an advocate for the New York home buyer.

DO NOT WORK WITH ARTHUR. He sold me a home with over $100k in mold damage, leaks, etc. He never even stepped foot on the roof and missed a ton of extremely obvious issues.
I cannot believe he is licensed to be a home inspector. Home inspectors are a dime a dozen. Safe yourself a ton of money and find someone who knows how to do the job!

Not reliable. Did not show up at requested time, so I was unable to be there when he inspected my home. Did not provide Radon report until requested several times.
Apparently, did not check toilet, because one flush handle was broken, and today it just cost me $850 to replace one toilet. Also, garbage disposal in sink was not working and slop sink was clogged. Too many things were missed. Art took off money for not showing up on time. When I told him of the issues he came out and was able to unclog the slop sink. Promised to come back the next week for the toilet and garbage disposal, but never

Arthur is not only an excellent inspector, but a really genuine and standup guy, which is rare to find in this industry. Art performed a very thorough home inspection for us which was detailed and fully documented (with pictures). As first time home buyers, we were intimidated by the process but Art went out of his way to answer each and every question we had and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
