Ny home inspector school of Putnam Valley is a top-notch school that use a state-of-the-art technology to perform inspections saving people hours of work. I found that also be very effective because I am not the most organized person so having all these different papers and stuff would have thrown me off. So now everything gets stored within the electronic device and then in the button Send the inspection to your clients and you could still access the inspection anytime as a reference point. Then you also have the instructors who are very professional and personable and so far many of my questions

Dave and his Instructors have a diverse background and the Information is to the point and topical. For CE classes they cover the material and there is always something new to learn. For General License class they provide all the opportunities for a student to learn both book and hands on. I strongly recommend these folks to keep your skills sharp and to find something new to learn.

This school is top notch! I’m 3 months into my 4 month class my future outlook has changed drastically. Not only does Dave teach you everything you need to know and more, he goes above and beyond to bring technology and personal experience into the class to give you every tool you will need. He breaks each class down by section and explains the ins and outs of the business. He gives you the confidence you need to succeed and helps you understand advertising and building your business from start to success. I have one month to go and I am confident I will pass my state test and have already started

What a great experience. No regrets. I learned so much in the classroom as well as out in the field. Dave is an excellent instructor who goes above and beyond what's required by NYS. You can tell that he genuinely wants each and every student to succeed. There are multiple classroom locations in the area and different courses offered on different nights of the week. Would highly recommend this school to anyone thinking of getting there license. Well worth the investment.

As a former grad and now an rising operating Licensed Home Inspector I could not have asked for a better start in the business. I found the classes to be engaging, detailed, highly educational and fun. It wasn't just text book it was real time learning with real Licensed Home Inspectors giving insights and knowledge you can not get out of books. I found NY Home Inspector School of Putnam Valley to be a Professional organization that completely prepared me for the State exam and onsite inspection. The software program for inspection reporting is excellent, easy to use, thorough, and professional. As a retired P.E., I enjoyed the class experience and the field preparation to become a licensed NY State Home Inspector. Dave is a great instructor and the presentation, handbooks and course materials will give you all you need to succeed as a home inspector. My professional career transitioned to a real estate agent, an appraiser and a home inspector all in that sequence. Of each, I love home inspection most of all; without the needed supervision, allowing me the freedom of independence. The class was enjoyable much like a small family and although I was the only woman, I found full support, friendliness and equality from all the men whom were my colleagues.
