Established in 1979 originally at 1619 Manitou Road by founder and President Craig Bryce. To start a marine business amidst recession, double digit inflation, 20% interest rates on boat loans, 16% home mortgages, gas rationing and record unemployment was unthinkable. None the less, Craig Bryce, after serving the marine industry for 20 years working for others, opened his own store at 1682 Manitou Rd.

Vessel operators who are required to have a Boater Education Card must carry the card on board the vessel and have it available for inspection by an enforcement officer. All states, territories, and provinces will recognize boating education cards that meet NASBLA requirements and Canadian Pleasure Craft Operator Cards that meet Transport Canada's requirements.
Full time and part time positions available. Full time with benefits including health care and retirement plan with employer contributions. Paid vacations. Competitive pay to experience. Requires standard tools. Specialty tools are provided. Marine certifications preferred. Other repair shop experiences considered and will consider auto ASE certifications.
Previous experiences from Bob Johnson Chevy and prior Owner of Marsh Motors, sold various brands of boats at Marsh Motors. Has owned several boats including a few Four Winns open bow runabouts. Avid fisherman with annual trips to a favorite spot up in Canada. Previous teacher within the Monroe County school districts.

My husband, Kevin, came home from a visit to Bryce Marine and was so pleased with the customer service he received I wanted to write a quick message. My husband said Mike and the team at Bryce were very helpful with the engine service he needed done and went out of their way to meet his needs. Highly recommended by the Bishop's !

My husband and I bought an older used boat from Bryce back in December. They stored it for us until spring when we could finally take it out. Unfortunately, right after the 30 day warranty ran out, we began to have some problems. Long story short, Mike (the owner) took the boat back and did all of the repairs without charging us anything! He wanted to make sure that we were happy. We will absolutely deal with Mike at Bryce again!

Went in during a time that finding a boat could prove to be challenging. As we are looking in walks Mike who starts to engage in a conversation with us. He patiently answers all our questions and researches anything he wasn't certain about to make sure we have the correct answer. We ended up buying a new boat, and couldn't be happier. Mike took great care, explained everything, and my wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience at Bryce! The after sale support has also been just as good, 5 Stars for sure!

I've had a horrible experience with Bryce Marine. My Husband and I ordered a Boat early March with a 8 to 10 week estimate on receiving the boat, we were told most boats were coming in around the 9 week mark. We are sitting here 14 weeks later and still no boat. The production has been pushed out yet again another week so we are not looking at receiving our boat until at least 16/17 week mark. We have had nothing but patience through this process because we understand there is a pandemic but enough is enough. I do not generally write reviews, but I felt like I needed to for this one. I had work done on my Seadoo at the end of the season last year. I immediately had it stored after picking it up and being told by them it was all fixed and in good condition. When I went to launch it for the first time since it was fixed it would not start. The display would turn on but said it was limp mode. The obvious thing to do was to call Bryce as they were the ones who last touched the engine (they replaced the IBR). I discussed with them what was happening and I was told to bring it in so they could make sure it

Worst customer service ever. called to get a quote on parts for a FIRE BOAT with a mercury outboard. All I needed was a quote on engine and lower end fluid and a couple of gaskets but instead of helping me out I got told their not interested and that they are to busy to look it up and give me a quote. They also told me if I was a walk in customer they would help me then but since I need a quote its a inconvenience to them. I've never got told I cant do that from a business. I will not be going there anymore for work or my personal boat since they are to busy to help out their customers especially

Called in the morning 6/2/21 and asked about an oil change. The woman on the phone said to bring it in and that they were catching up and would only be about a week. Great! I hook up the boat bring it there. Mind you I was there for a winterization in fall The lady at the desk had to ask someone in the back about the boat and size of the motor. She comes back and says they are not set up to do them this time of year and would be very expensive. Seriously?? But 3 hours earlier they were? Seasonal oil changes? What a complete farce. The personnel at this business were extremely professional and helpful to me in processing my application for a boat trailer registration in Pennsylvania. They provided important information regarding a trailer they sold in 2017, which I bought from the original owner this year. I give this business my highest rating. They went out of their way to help me, when helping me made no money for them. They made something money cannot buy.....a great reputation for helping customers.

I stopped in to the store to get some basic information about selling a fishing boat for my Father-in-Law. I know nothing about boats. In September/October of 2020 I called Bryce Marine for some preliminary information about my trade in and purchasing a new boat. Due to COVID and manufacturing issues it became clear that I needed to purchase much sooner than I planned. Nervous about this new timeline, Mike has been great to deal with. He worked with me throughout the process and continues to do so. I stopped in just to drop off paperwork, Mike wasn't there but Dave took the time to answer all of my questions, we ended up talking for almost 2 hours! Incredible customer service and knowledge. The best way to judge a business is not by how well they treat you when things go well, but the way they treat you when things do not. I purchased a 2000 Stingray from Bryce Marine early this year. Unfortunately, there were a few mechanical issues that were impossible to predict by any of us. Dave, Craig, Mike and everyone else did everything they could to correct the situation until the issue was resolved. I was very impressed and pleased with the treatment I received.

This spring I visited Bryce to see their vertical boat hoist offerings. They were polite, informative and helpful. I live in Florida but summer in the Finger Lakes. When I returned home, I kept in contact via phone and eventually placed an order for a Craftlander. Throughout the process their service was impeccable.

Bought a new boat and trailer from them and the mechanism on the hitch never worked properly. They refused to accept responsibility for it. Took our jet ski there twice to be repaired. Charged us big and said it was fixed but wasn't. Again refused to accept responsibility. Said it worked right when they dropped it in the pond so it was out problem. Will NEVER go back and I warn people to beware.

I am giving Bryce Marine a 1 star based on the fact that when I called for service on my Tracker Boat that I bought from Bass Pro Shop, I was rudely told by the proprietor: "You didn't buy it from us, go back to Bass Pro Shop". It would have been in their best interest to service my boat as I have upgraded so many things on my boat since then and they could have had that business, but after that remark, will not give them any business. All I did was ask for them to service my boat, nothing more. I am now going to purchase a 9.9 kicker motor, and guess who I am NOT buying
