Our mission is to preserve and improve access for recreational boating. We have construction equipment and skilled personnel to support large marine construction projects, or to complete medium to smaller sized projects ourselves. Our main location is Gibbs Marine on the Genesee River.

Twice we have taken over management of failing marinas with less than 10% occupancy and restored them to over 90% occupancy by completing large land cleanup and improvement projects. We have internally engineered, obtained permits for, and constructed countless marine improvement projects including: seawalls, piers, pile driving, launch ramps, docking systems, boat lifts, and all types of dredging projects.
Services
DOCK SLIPS: This marina offers 4,000' of frontage on the Genesee River with 170 fixed dock slips and 22 acres of upland. This marina is unique because some of its slips have an adjacent strip of land where the boaters can install storage sheds, decks, or pergolas. This marina features potable water and electric at each slip, with restroom and shower facilities located throughout the property.
LOCATION: River Street Marine is in the City of Rochester, located on the west side of Genesee River north and south of the O'Rourke bridge. Slips north of the bridge are accessed off Lake Avenue via Latta Road, and parking is provided in a lot at 490 River Street. Slips south of the bridge are accessed off Lake Avenue via Petten, and parking is provided in the lot on the left where Petten Street meets the Genesee River.
LOCATION: Manitou Beach Marina is located off the Lake Ontario State Parkway in the Town of Greece at the Manitou Beach Road exit. The marina is located directly on Braddock Bay, and provides access to Lake Ontario. DOCK SLIPS: The marina was dredged out during the 2019 season and offers 100 slips on a floating dock system.
ABOUT US: Waterfront Specialties Inc. is our construction services portion of this business. We were incorporated as Braddock Bay Marina, Inc. (BBM) in 1981. HISTORY AND COMPLETED PROJECTS (Braddock Bay): As Braddock Bay Marina, Inc. (BBM) we constructed that facility in 1981 by installing 365 wooden dock slips supported by over 3,000 driven steel pilings, 600' of steel sheet pile, a launch ramp, 6,000 square foot of buildings.

I needed some impossible to find older inboard engine parts, I found two after months of checking the internet, but Steve Gibbs had the whole set of four in great condition, and even gave me a great deal on the price! Honestly, he could have charged me a fortune and I’d have no choice, no way I could repair my old parts, and couldn’t launch until I got new ones, and he still gave me a great deal, asking $600 less than what we’d agreed to on the phone! Who does that? I’ll tell you, a guy that loves boats. The yard area may be a bit messy, but don’t let it fool you, this is a place that

This is an interesting place, the only nice things are done by the slip renters. As for the grounds, they are awfully maintained and I mean AWFUL. This guy should be ashamed of his “management and grounds”. Now I’m not saying everything should be perfect but jeeze!

Great place. They worked out a price for me and also the dock manager is super nice and has tons of old time stories to tell ya. Great spot near the river as well. Updated bathroom and shower. I would recommend. Gas is cheaper here than Shumway's as well

No ramp access on the weekends, rip off especially when the limited season we have in Rochester and people work weekdays. Flooded gas pumps. Can’t take the boat out of the water for upgrades or gas.
Strong currents from the river and sediments and wood banging on your boat overnight.

Steve from Gibb’s marine has been amazing to work with.
We brought our boat in late in late in the season and he went above and beyond to winterize, wrap and store it for us.
Highly recommend working with Steve!

I was there for 3 years and it's done nothing but go down hill. Management is atrocious. The workers come down and party and cause issues with the paying customers. Wouldn't recommend bringing your children or pets there.
