Setien Group has been a pillar in the Structural Design and Steel Fabrication Industry for over 40 years, first established in 1978. Our corporate office is located in Schertz, TX with full operating offices in Houston, Rockport, and Laredo, Texas. Our staffing consists of our in-house group of 33 trained detailers and checkers along with our U.S. and overseas outsource groups of over 70 trained detailers.

Our structural design and engineering team has completed numerous individual jobs and collaborated with many other construction companies on various projects.
Steel detailing plays a vital part in the construction industry. Steel detailing is the proccess of developing structural steel shop drawings for steel fabricators and steel erectors. Setien and Associates' steel detailers produce clean accurate detailed plan drawings for the manufacture, and erection of steel columns, trusses, stairs, handrails, beams, joists, etc. needed for the construction of industrial and commercial structures.
Quality Control with all outsource teams is strictly maintained solely within the United States by the checking and back-checking process performed by our headquarters office staff and our three satellite offices' staff to ensure design integrity, accuracy and to minimize omissions before fabrication and construction.
We pride ourselves in working very closely with our clients and with our client's customers. When permitted and deemed necessary, we will provide direct involvement with the architects, structural engineers, and general contractors of any project. In the past, we have worked with general contractors such a Miner-Dederick, W.S. Bellows Construction, Harvey-Cleary Builders, Tellepsen, Gilbane Building Company and Manhattan Construction Company.
