Claylee Stewart established Claylee's Dance Academy in 1991 specifically for dancers of all ages. Claylee was determined to create a comfortable environment for children and adult participation.
The studio offers a family friendly atmosphere while at the same time providing benefits not found at other studios including two large dance studios, ample free parking, two viewing areas where parents and students can relax and enjoy watching ongoing classes.Today, the studio has kept the same family friendly atmosphere that has been present from day one.

Not quite sure what the previous reviewer was talking about. This year's show is Alice in Wonderland, so it makes sense the "stars" are blond. Last year, the star was a Mexican Wendy for Peter Pan. The husband does not leer at you when you walk in. The place is friendly and welcoming. Not every child can be the best. I just wanted my girls to learn poise and grace and they have don't that and more at Claylee's without learning how to shake their booties all the time. I highly recommend this studio.

I started dancing here about a year ago and I've never hated dancing so much. Let me start off by saying they play too many favorites, they pay no attention to the new dancers and don't give them the same opportunities as the rest even tho you're paying the same money. That's another thing, they only pay attention to you when they need you to sign a check for them at the end of the month. They will never correct you in class, I know because sometimes I will do things wrong on purpose just to see if they'd correct me but they never did they'd just look at me like "whatever" and it's just so frustrating

At this place they study the art and the foundation of the dance, the fundamental learning of all the different styles of learning it as a craft, like ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and even Folklorico and Polynesian. The owner and her daughter are professional dancers and they run a really class organization. It's a family atmosphere. They're not punitive. They have different expectations for girls of different age groups. They really nurture confidence in the girls. Some of the girls that go are overweight and not treated any differently. If they can do the moves, they will get to be in the performance
