Dance Image is one of the leading dance studios in the Whittier, LA County Area. At our studio, we aim to encourage a widespread love of dance, and create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all. In business for over 27 years, Dance Image is one of the most established and respected dance studios in Whittier and has become a second home to many children.
For over 27 years, the instructors at Dance Image have gone above and beyond to ensure our dance teaching is thorough, inclusive and always supportive of our young students. We undertake regular training to ensure our teaching is world class and that students are in a safe environment. YPAD courses empower dance professionals with educational resources for a safe and sustainable future for the dance industry.
Dance Image is one of the most established dance schools in our area and is all Inclusive, all the time. We offer a variety of dance classes for all ages and abilities, from tiny tots and beginners to adults and professional level students. You'll find our dance and ballet classes welcoming and encouraging as we aim to teach through positivity and support, and refer to the guidelines set by Youth Protection Advocates in Dance (YPAD).
Debbi D. Miller, Owner & Director of Dance Image, is a LICENSED AND CERTIFIED MEMBER of Cecchetti USA. Our Cecchetti Ballet Academy Candidates have been successfully passing their Cecchetti Exams since 1997. The Cecchetti Method is one of the most common styles of training in Classical Ballet.

In 2013, just a few months after I came from Cuba to reunite with my family in the US, I visited several dance studios to find the one where I would like to work as a Flamenco teacher. As soon as I walked into Dance Image I loved it! The life, the parents watching their dancers through a wide glass window, the organization, all made me fall in love with it.

We arrived at Dance Image 2 months ago because our previous dance studio closed down. During these past two months we have found the instruction at Dance Image to be at a high caliber. As for the instructors themselves they have a way of communicating with the children that makes the children feel comfortable while at the same time being strict and disciplined.

I love it there my daughter went for the first time and she loved it coming back I really recommend this dance team they have great dancers the receptionist the help me getting my daughter to go for her first time it was so professional my email didn't work and she send me everything through text message I really appreciate it 💜 thank you for everything if you looking where to take your daughter to ballet, tap or hip hop classes this is the place 💜 Thank you Dance Image 💓

My daughter just turned four. She’s been in gymnastics for a while, but recently we were looking for something different. She loves ballerinas and always loves dancing. I found this studio from an ad on Facebook and asked for a free trial.
On the day of my daughter’s free trial, both of our temps were taken, masks required, and social distancing was enforced. My daughter received a cute button that celebrated it being her first day at dance class and she loved the button! Parents are currently not allowed in the studio due to COVID but you are given a Zoom link to watch the class in your car

It was my daughter's first day, and everyone was very friendly. I'm glad she enjoyed the trial class, and I was able to sign her up right after. A few years ago, my oldest took a class at DA through the community, and she also liked it. We are ready to start our dance journey, whether seasonal or for years to come.

My daughter did the trial ballet & tap class! She has never had any type of classes. My daughter loved it! I appreciate how they handle social distancing. The instructor handled all the tiny dancers & being distracted well! I look forward to see my daughter’s growth! So fun to watch!

I have been searching for dance classes for my kids for a while now with no luck. Then I found Dance Image. I was offered a free trial for both my kids. They loved it! I had to sign them up for classes immediately. I have been in constant communication with them through text, email, in person and calls and no matter how many questions I asked they provided me the courtesy and patience I needed to feel welcome and comfortable. I look forward to being a part of the Dance Image family!

Came here for a trial class for my 4year old. I enjoyed the atmosphere and fun music they played during the ballet & tap combo. My toddler wasn't ready to commit to the classes even though she fully participates. I would have signed her up in a heartbeat if she said yes. Thank you Miss Debbie for our free trial. I would recommend this studio to anyone with little ones that love to dance and need to get the wiggles out.
