Services
Hart Academy of Dance is the fastest growing studio in Orange County and has a talented teaching staff to train your children into well-rounded dancers on a recreational or competitive level. We are happy to provide our dancers with their "second home." We offer two locations in La Habra totaling over 15,000 square feet, including nine-dance rooms, and home to dancers ages 2 to adult.
All tuition rates can be applied to a single-household family. For example, all children/step-children living in the same home can add their hours together when determining tuition costs. See desk manager for details. An annual registration fee of $20 per student, and $15 each additional child, is due upon registration.

Hart Academy of Dance is a wonderful studio. My daughter has been dancing here since she was in mommy and me; she is now 8 yrs old. All the teachers and owner truly care about their students. There are classes if you're just beginning to dance or if you would like to dance at a competitive level. We can't say enough wonderful things about Hart and the environment they provide for our daughter. They offer a free trial class if you are considering joining :)

I normally don't write reviews, but this place deserves it!
If you are looking for a great place to teach your kids actual dance, this is it. My two Daughters have both gone through here. I can't think of a better group of people to have be a part of your family. I do mean family, they are very much a big part of ours.
From teaching them about dance, and doing it fairly and with class, to being mentors to yourchildren. The teacher's here are more than just teachers. I am forever in debt for the great job they have in helping me mold my girls into what they are today.

My daughter has only been at this studio for a little over a month but we are SO beyond happy. She took classes at a studio in Whittier that was unorganized, dirty and unprofessional. From the first moment we set foot in Hart to take a look at the facility, I was blown away by how much nicer it was than the studio we had taken her to previously. Also, her teacher is so knowledgeable, patient and seems to really care about her students. We LOVE Ms. Jessica! So so SO happy we found Hart and look forward to watching my little dancer flourish here.

Absolutely love this studio! My daughter has been dancing here since she was 2 she is going to be 8 and is on the competition team. We have had nothing but wonderful experience here. The teachers are amazing we love every single one. My daughter has grown so much as a dancer and I owe it all the the dedicated teachers at hart. Since we have started the studio has only grown more and more. We are very proud to be apart of the hart family.

I attended Hart for about five years. Once, a teacher was going around stretching us, she got to me, yanked my leg up, and I remember her telling me i just wasn't flexible enough. When I went to the doctor after I was sure i was NOT "just being a drama queen" turns out my hamstring was pulled. Next class she got very angry at me, saying that if my hamstring was pulled i "wouldn't be able to walk." So i asked her if i could see her phd because i WAS hurt. That is the most vivid memory I have. Others are me running out of the studio crying because a teacher told me i needed to stop talking to my

If you want to go to a place with little enthusiasm and lazy, NON-TECHNICAL teachers, then go here.
Though there are many classes, the one I tried had a sick teacher who sat on her chair the entire time watching as kid after kid made numerous mistakes that she never bothered to fix. Severe disappointment and waste of time. I thought this would be a studio that actually had advanced technique.

So far I am really happy with this dance academy. I like that they offer many dance classes for different age groups and levels. This really helps kids work at the right level and advance accordingly. All the instructors have years of experience and seem knowledgeable. Looking forward to seeing the summer recital and progress on my child's dance technique.
Also the girls at the front desk are really helpful and knowledgeable in all the classes they offer. Overall, great studio in LH.

My almost-3-year old is in the Jazz/Tap combo class and looks forward to her classes with Miss Solange every week!
After searching around at a few different studios, I was appreciative of Shayna (the front desk manager) for answering all my questions right away.
As a new student you're able to do one free trial class and this is where my kid fell to the ground sobbing when it was over and didn't want to leave. Needless to say we turned in our forms that same day. They offer a cookie fundraiser which helps you pay your tuition if you choose to take part in it.

Hart Academy of Dance is the studio for us! We tried a couple of others around town and finally settled here. It has a great balance of professionalism, friendliness, and class. We personally do not compete, although they do offer competitive dance, so I cannot speak to that aspect.
The Christmas Open House is personal and lovely while the summer recital is formal, exciting, and very well-done! The only down-side is that classes fill up quickly and recital tickets sell out. For the three year we have attended, all teachers have been wonderful and Miss Shayna, the front desk manager is super helpful

I loved the adult ballet class on Tuesday nights. It was my first ballet class that I have taken since I was a kid and this class is a great place to get back into it. The instructor was good, and the other students were really great as well. All ages welcome! You'll learn a lot of technique and have fun too.

I really like this studio. It is night and day to my old one. They employ great classroom management skills and are firm without being mean. They combine some group activities with one on one attention making sure every child gets the material. It's clean, in good repair, and has central a/c. They take student safety seriously and are constantly evaluating students to make sure they are where they should be.

Great studio with great teachers!! We came from another studio so it was easy to see how superior this studio was. Most of the instructors have college degrees in either teaching, kinesiology or dance (unlike other studios that had some high school kids teaching). This studio has 4 dance rooms so there are plenty of classes going on at the same time. The best part about this is that they offer more than 1 of the same class/level. The waiting area is comfortable and clean. There is a snack room for the kids to eat in and they have a variety of snacks you can purchase.

Last night was my first adult ballet class. I did ballet before so it wasn't hard to catch up. It was a great class and was a pretty intense work out session for me, as i don't do any exercise regularly. The teacher was very good, making sure everyone is learning and with the correct postures.
Tuition is affordable, which is $40 per month (one hour class per week.)
I enjoy the class a lot and wish the class would meet twice a week though.
I would suggest them to have a changing area, besides the toilet. and it would be great if there was a space for students to get warmed up before

I took the adult tap and adult ballet class here. The adult tap class had students ranging in age from teenager to moms. I entered the class when they had been practicing for a while and was very behind. We worked out some fun stuff but there were a lot of steps that I didn't know. The instructor did a great job at going over the steps with me without holding up the rest of the class.
The ballet class moved a lot slower and is known as the "mom class" because all of the students (excluding me) are moms. Most of the class is pretty advanced and dance on pointe shoes! The instructor
