For the dedicated aficionado and connoisseur. The Platinum Club at Midnight Cellars is a true expression of our passion and dedication. You'll receive 12 bottles twice a year of our reserve, limited production, and wine club only releases in each shipment. As our most loyal members, you will also have priority access to each vintage of Zenith Estate Cuvee, the extremely small production, award-winning Bordeaux blend.
The Hartenberger family began planting the estate vineyard in the spring of 1995. The button staking was done in-house (a larger undertaking than anticipated!). As it turned out, each vine required an auger through five feet of solid rock. After a few weeks and approximately 1000 holes, the family enlisted assistance for the remaining 17,000 holes that needed to be dug.
Midnight's production facility is located on the Anderson Road property, adjacent to the tasting room. During harvest, it is here that all the fruit is two-table sorted, fermented, and barrel stored. Barrel regiments are all French oak with variable percentages of new. Rich is often asked to describe his passion, focus, and ideas about winemaking.
We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error.

#legit the BEST winery in Paso. Wine is 5 star but people are still humble. The owner, Rich, still sits on the patio and talks about the importance of bees with you while Natalie pours and talks about the best wines in the area!!!

Outstanding Zinfandel for a great price! Just happened upon this winery by accident passing through Paso and was amazed at the jammy yet dry balance of their wine. We bought three bottles because they were priced so reasonably. Looking to go back soon!

A must stop on your tour of the Paso Robles wine country. The lovely lady behind the bar let us taste the whole line up. I thought the stand out was their Gemini but their Zinfandel was awesome but be careful at 16% it will put you down. If you taste the Paso Robles region don't miss this gem of a winery.
