There is ample opportunity to gather socially in our comfortable, homey community rooms, as well as a variety of activities, exercise, crafts, trips, services, and much more to enjoy! Colony Retirement Homes is a registered nonprofit organization that has been serving seniors in Massachusetts for over 55 years.
Services
To address with respect the needs of our residents, focusing on security, purposefulness, and wellness of mind, body, and spirit. Our comfortable apartments are located in attractive, country-like settings, and the friendly, social atmosphere fosters a sense of community. Residents enjoy a variety of activities in spacious and well-maintained common areas.
Colony I and Colony II are garden-style complexes with a total of 139 units. Here you'll find a friendly atmosphere, handsomely landscaped grounds, spacious common areas, and resident social activities that together create an inviting living experience that is filled with vitality and warmth. Directions: From Route 290 East or West, take Exit 19 Rt.
Colony III has 100 units. In addition to the well-maintained grounds and the comforts of home, Colony III features the added convenience of homemade lunch and dinner each day. Our in-house, dedicated dining staff prepares a wide variety of nutritionally balanced meals that are served in our spacious and comfortable community dining room.
Colony's policies allow for one person in a studio unit, one or two people in a one-bedroom apartment, and a minimum of two and maximum of four people in a two-bedroom apartment. The meals program at Colony III is mandatory. If you are not interested in the meals program, we welcome you to apply to Colony I, II, IV or Holden.
Due to our status as a nonprofit organization, applicants must meet government-mandated criteria to be eligible for residency at Colony Retirement Homes. Have one household member who is 62 years of age, older or need the features of an accessible unit. Be low income by federal HUD Department if your household size is larger than two people, please call and ask what the income limits are.
