Services
Lauryn Ginsburg, P.T., D.P.T., graduated from Springfield College with her master's degree in physical therapy in 2009 and from Simmons College with her doctorate in physical therapy in 2013. Lauryn is certified in functional dry needling (Level 1, 2, 3 & functional therapeutics) and has a strong hands-on approach to physical therapy.
I have been a competitive CrossFit athlete for 7 years and I have never worked with someone who has the sport specific knowledge to not only treat my injuries, but also diagnose them and then send me home with exercises to improve my condition. Her use of dry needling and expertise has healed what I thought was a chronic shoulder injury.
This appointment is very important so Lauryn can get to know you, your injury, and your goals. She will spend this appointment doing movement screens and test different things like your range of motion and your strength to determine the diagnosis and the plan of care. She will discuss the findings with you and most likely begin some treatment with you on this first visit.

I was referred to Lauren by a friend to treat tendonitis in my Achilles. She diagnosed and treated me on my first visit. In a short amount of time she was able to get me on the right path to recovery. Her great l knowledge, experience and dedication is obvious from the start. She began working on shoulder mobility with me today. After ten years of pain and stiffness I can feel the results after just one treatment. I am looking forward to my next treatment.

Lauryn is phenomenal at what she does and my go to PT & conditioning resource. I run obstacle course races competitively and often have banged up or bruised one joint or another - Lauryn has done a great job using multiple modalities to keep me competitive and running, whether we are treating an acute injury or chronic she always got a great solution.
I highly recommend Lauryn for any PT or conditioning needs, she listens to the issues and goes above and beyond to find the proper treatment to get us back to what we love as quick as possible.

After my total shoulder replacement I went to Lauryn for extensive physical therapy. From the first session I knew I was in good hands. You could just tell that she knew what she was doing, and was going to get you better. She pushed when she knew you could handle it, and explained what you could expect to feel after the session. Thanks to her hands on, and her recommended at home exercises I regained 100 percent range of motion. I have seen other physical therapists, but Lauryn is definitely the best!

Lauryn is a friend, fellow athlete & go-to PT for acute issues as they've arisen for me - she understands athletes because she is one!
I always appreciate her thorough diagnosis & desire to understand my goals - treating accordingly. We've worked on my shoulders, improving range of motion through dry needling & are currently doing work on my left hip/SI joint as I prepared for a Half Ironman.

I sought out Lauryn for physical therapy after rupturing my Achilles tendon. Being a fellow athlete who had experienced injuries before, she knew exactly where I was coming from but more importantly she knew where I was trying to get back to. I knew I was in good hands from the very first visit. The care and effort that she put into my PT regimen has helped me regain my mobility and strength in the region. I went from barely being able to walk right to being able to resume training in 3.5 months. I continue to utilize Lauryn's services to aid in recovery from training and to stay healthy so that

Lauryn is so great at what she does! A couple months ago I injured my glute/hamstring during Crossfit, and she was able to see me on short notice. She ended up dry needling the injured area after we discussed in detail what happened, and it was feeling significantly better within the next couple of days. She wrote me some modified WODs for the next few days that would allow me to move and not further injure myself. She provided me some helpful exercises and continued to follow up with me to ask how I was doing. I was able to ask her questions that crossed my mind after my appointment, and she was
