Primrose Cabin is tucked under the trees, providing romance and privacy with a water view. Enjoy a Warm wood stove fire place, a snuggly queen bed, hot chocolate coffee, and your Netflix or good book! Maybe a beach front campfire! Our home, cabins (Heather and Primrose), and beach cottage (Willow) are situated on three lovely acres along our own private beach.
Spacious lawns, flower gardens and woods overlook the water and islands of Westsound. The charming little cabins were built in the early 1900's in a simple Cape Cod style. We have restored them into perfect honeymoon or private retreats with fluffy pillows, comfy furnishings and gorgeous views. The cabins are comfortable and inviting, and each offers its own unique details.

Services
Windows framed by warm pine walls look down on seals and otters in the bay below. You can read, watch a movie on the VCR, or just relax in the living room's captain's bed, love seat, or rocking chair. A wood stove is tucked into the old stone fireplace, and firewood is provided for cozy winter nights.
The intimate Primrose cabin nestles among fir trees about 100 feet from the water's edge and hot tub. A covered porch shelters a dinner table for two beside a small private garden. The brick path looks down to the wedding spot above the water. The cabin's French doors lead into the cozy, cedar sitting room.
The Willow Cottage has WiFi, a house phone for local calls, and a living room furnished for comfort, plus a wood stove fireplace. You have your own garden patio, the private beach, dock, and recreational kayak to use (depending on season and weather), beach fires too, and a big lawn to play on. This original country cottage is perfect for a couple or small family to relax on an island by the sea.

I contacted Jennifer to see if the Willow cabin was available for a week in April, 2022. She stated that it was available so, I went ahead and purchased plane tickets and reserved a rental car. Jennifer then emailed me to state that since the Canada/US border opened yesterday, she would no longer accommodate my husband and I because she has a Canadian family that usually comes on that weekend.
She had not even heard from that family yet to know if they were coming, but had zero concern for the $2,500 I had spent based upon her assurance that she would accommodate us. Even when I sent her a message

We stayed at the Willows cabin in December 2019. We had a fabulous time. Very cute, charming cabin. The owner was so sweet and very accommodating! She was very helpful with suggestions about restaurants and activities on the island. I highly recommend staying at Cabins on the Point. We definitely will be back.

Cabins on the Point is a truly special place. Having stayed at multiple locations on Orcas I will say this one is far and above anywhere I have stayed before. The attention to detail in the cabins, they are so cute! And the amenities are fantastic. A big lawn for games, sweet swings everywhere to take in the views, kayaks and paddle boards...even a hot tub! I hopefully with have the chance to go back many times. The best part, we saw ORCAS while sitting on the porch!! They put on a real show for us, breaching and slapping the water right there in the bay. Thank you to Jennifer and everyone involved

We stayed in the Heather Cabin at Cabins-on-the-Point on Orcas Island between 9/6 – 9/9/2019. It was a quiet, relaxing, and wonderful experience – a place to unplug, unwind, relax, and experience nature. The Heather Cabin appears to have been built perhaps in the 1930’s and retains its vintage charm. The Heather Cabin is very well maintained and has everything you need to be comfortable. The cabin is right on the water and the views are amazing and ever changing between morning, during the day, and at sunset. And you can enjoy the view from the picture window bedroom, from the many windows

My daughter, grandaughter and I had a great girls weekend in the Willow's cabin. The cabin was so homey, warm, comfortable and really clean. Not a speck of dust anywhere.
Jennifer met us when we got there and gave us tips on where to eat and what to go see. We were there on the off season, so not everything was open in town. She tracked us down in town and gave us the updated list of open business for the weekend. She knows everything that is going on. We loved visiting with her and the cabin was very relaxing, which is what we really needed.
The cabin had great views. It has a fully stocked

My husband and I stayed here for a little vacation just the two of us at Heather Cabin and it was so beautiful and romantic and there was lots to do on the island. The cabin had a kitchen which saved us money because we just got some groceries and cooked instead of going out! The bed was so soft and comfortable! And it was so peaceful there! And the views!! GORGEOUS!!! Management was so welcoming and even helped us find some things to do around the Island! I highly recommend this place to anyone even families in the bigger cabin! It’s a great place to get away!

Last summer my wife, sister-in-law all stayed here. It was the most relaxing, enjoyable vacation I have had in over 20 years. The cabins are clean, simple and helped immensely to disconnect and enjoy your free time. The hot tub near the water was a surprise but one of the best parts and places to sit in the evening watching the sunset. We were blessed that the other cabins were not occupied but they are all separate enough for each cabin to have its own area. They did not take credit cards, only check or cash. I did miss the sound of the ocean crashing during the night but the quite made up for

My wife and I stayed in the Heather at Cabins on the point for our honeymoon. This place is an absolute paradise!
The Heather cabin is a perfect spot for a couple who is looking for a quiet romantic getaway. It sits on the edge of the outermost rocky cliff facing the bay. The views are spectacular. From inside the cabin nearly every window frames the pristine setting while the master bed sits in a bay window and gives you amazing views of the moonlit water as you fall asleep.
