Natalie T. Daprile is a Certified Family Law Specialist and founding partner of Daprile-Bell Family Law Offices. She has dedicated her practice to family law exclusively for over two decades. Early in her career she gained tax expertise working for the Internal Revenue Service and court room experience from the San Francisco District Attorney's Office.
She has practiced family law exclusively since 2004. Prior to joining Daprile-Bell, Ms. Dominguez practiced family law at another highly respected San Jose law firm for almost six years and her original mentor is now a Santa Clara County Judge.
Ms. Dominguez has substantial experience in all aspects of family law matters, such as child custody and visitation, domestic violence issues, property division, characterization, allocation, and valuation; reimbursement claims; spousal support; child support; breaches of fiduciary duty; pre-nuptial agreement disputes and post-judgment matters.

Raechelle L. Velarde joined Daprile-Bell Family Law Offices in early 2015 after gaining valuable family law experience with another firm in San Jose dedicated exclusively to family law. She has been practicing law since 2010 and handles her own cases as well as supporting the senior partners.
She has experience in all aspects of family law, including high conflict cases, contested child custody matters, premarital and post marital agreements, and complicated child and spousal support cases.Ms. Velarde graduated from Pacific McGeorge School of Law with her Juris Doctor in 2009. During law school, she was dedicated to helping those less fortunate, and was a volunteer for the elder abuse clinic and the elder abuse hotline.

We were lucky to find her shortly after she moved here from her home country of England, and our clients enjoy her English accent. We find many clients only want to talk to Annette to hear her beautiful voice/accent. In England, she ran her own driver's instruction business. At Daprile-Bell Family Law Offices, she uses her longtime organizational and people skills to keep our office running smoothly in a very organized fashion.
Fernanda Barbaccia has been a paralegal for over 20 years and for the majority of those years has worked exclusively in the area of family law. Mrs. Barbaccia completed her education at West Valley College and also attended courses at Santa Clara County Family Court. She has been with Daprile-Bell Family Law Offices since the firm was established in 1999.

I had such a terrible experience with Cheri Bell that I'm going to tell everyone about it. Firstly, I was asked to pay upfront before I was seen. That's standard practice, so I handed over $350 of my hard-earned cash to a receptionist who grabbed it eagerly out of my hand. Then I waited. Finally I had my consultation with her. She spend 15 minutes out of the 50 minutes I was paying her for talking about her disabled child, her difficulties, worries etc. This was not what I was paying for, & seemed irrelevant. Like everyone, I've seen terrible divorces that have destroyed families and cost exuborant amounts in legal fees. I knew for certain that I didn't want that and because of Natalie, my divorce was settled extremely amicably, while still achieving the best possible outcome. A colleague of mine recommended Natalie, but due to scheduling issues, I did not see Natalie - I had one consultation with Christie Mahon, an associate at the firm. Christie is quick-minded and whip smart. My case has elements of a civil wrong, among other things, so Christie did not take the case but recommended an attorney who is both a civil litigator and a family lawyer. She charged me for only one hour even though we talked for longer - as the firm was not getting my business, Christie did not feel that it was fair to me to charge the full price for the consultation.

For my personal experience both with divorce and lawyers, I couldn't have asked for better lawyer. Natalie Daprile was recommended to me by a friend of a friend. She is a straight forward, tell it like it is, honest lawyer (yes, I said HONEST) and she gets the job done. The only down time I experienced was due to delays from my Ex-. In the end (what I thought was to be the start of long & drawn out negotiations) she got my Ex- to agree to everything I wanted and needed for my child. She did everything in her power to do right by me and more importantly... right by my child.
