With Senior Messages you can send personalized greetings to Residents at University Care Center. Messages are emailed to our staff, then printed out in color and hand-delivered to your loved one. University care center continues to be blessed with caring, dedicated staff. Managers and staff are empowered to create a home-like environment for the Residents. Caring staff combined with continuing education ensures University care center is working to improve upon the services they provide to local seniors.
At University Care Center, we understand that no one looks forward to entering a skilled nursing facility, even if it is only for a short term stay. The role of our Admissions Department is to assist families who need to find immediate placement for a loved one. Often, a Discharge Planner or Social Worker at a hospital informs a patient's primary contact of the need for short term rehabilitation or long term care placement.

I'm happy say that I've worked at University Care Center for several years! I appreciate the teamwork when caring for our residents We are truly like family! When one resident or coworker needs help we are here as a team to help them. All departments are dedicated to providing the best possible care.

University Care Center in Edwardsville Illinois is the best place I have found for my Beautiful Wife Beth... She's been in there since October 29th, 2019 with Guillain Barre Syndrome and has improved so much since that time.. The entire staff is just amazing and they truly care about the residents and take excellent care of them.. my Beautiful Wife loves it there and all the nurses love her too... I would highly recommend them to anyone who may need a nursing home because they are by far the best place in the entire area...

My mother was admitted to UNRC for cardiac rehab after her heart surgery. She stayed about 6 weeks and went home stronger and more full of vitality than she had been for 2 years. She loved working with the wonderful girls in the therapy department and developed close relationships with many of the residents as well as staff members.
I've now had four family members stay in this facility and they have all been extremely satisfied with the care they received.

When my friend arrived three days before Christmas, she couldn’t move her left side at all. She had a stroke. The therapy department here is wonderful! They are all so tender hearted and loving. If you are willing to work hard, have lots of determination, and do what they need you to do, you can get better too!
