At Elmwood Nursing and Rehab, we understand that no one looks forward to entering a skilled nursing community, even if it is only for a short-term stay. The role of our Admissions Department is to assist families who need to find immediate placement for a loved one. Often, a Discharge Planner or Social Worker at a hospital informs a patient's primary contact of the need for short-term rehabilitation or long-term care placement.
Elmwood Nursing and Rehab continues to be blessed with caring, dedicated staff. Managers and staff are empowered to create a home-like environment for the Residents. One of the best ways to understand our devotion to quality healthcare is to listen to our Residents and families. I was living at an assisted living facility before I fell and broke my hip. My plan was to go back after my rehab here at Elmwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, however, I love it so much, I have decided to give up my apartment and live here permanently!
