Christine and Danille have created a warm and welcoming home away from home. Each morning you are greeted with a smile, and how was your evening. Followed by a great breakfast on the porch. The rooms are spacious and very well done. The location is perfect for a leisurely walk into Ridgefield.
My wife said it best, unlike a hotel, staying here you become vested in the place and the truly nice staff that they have working there.
Can't wait to get back !

For anyone who would like a peaceful getaway, you need to book a night at the West Lane Inn in Ridgefield, Ct. It looks like one of those quaint old fashion inns that you would see in a Hallmark movie. The new owners have done an incredible job renovating the rooms while maintaining their historic small town charm. Each room has a personality of its own. I make it a point to stay at the Inn whenever I visit my friends in Ridgefield. In the lobby they provide snacks and wine glasses so guests can enjoy beverages while mingling on the quaint porch overlooking the beautiful grounds. One of

My husband and I just had our wedding weekend at the West Lane Inn. Not only did all of our out of town guests stay at the Inn, we also had our rehearsal dinner on their beautiful lawn and porch. I can honestly say that our experience at the Inn was exceptional. The owners, Christine and Danille, were instrumental in making our friends and family feel welcome and giving them the quintessential New England experience that only their Inn and Ridgefield could bring.

Absolutely adore this Inn! It's walkable to historic downtown Ridgefield, next-door to Bernard's and Sarah's Wine Bar, and they have the best scones!
Love that it's owned by women and is a fixture in the landscape of Ridgefield.

This is a lovely property, and we enjoyed it immensely during an unseasonably warm November weekend. Their fabulous breakfast was served on the front porch, and the new proprietor and staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. In spite of Covid precautions there was a collegial atmosphere among the guests, and we spoke to many others who were also enjoying their weekend stay. We will definitely be back to stay, though have more recently enjoyed their outdoor skating rink and fire pit! It also happens to be next door to a fabulous restaurant, which offered outdoor dining in their lovely garden

Absolute gem!! We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful inn this past weekend. We selected this inn purely for location as we were visiting from out of state in order to purchase a home in town.

Driving up to the inn it looked like something out of a Hallmark movie. The lobby was warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated for the holidays. There was sanitizer and masks available in order to follow Covid guidelines. And the gourmet individually packaged snacks and bottled water were especially appreciated after a long drive.

We were traveling with our two young children so we booked a

The perfect spot for safety and refreshment during a pandemic. This traditional country inn in one of Connecticut's most delightful country towns, has adapted to today's circumstances with deep cleaning and reliable safety procedures. None of the charm is lost. From the broad front porch, big enough for twenty tables and rooofed to protect from sun and rain, we enjoy breakfast in a tranquil setting amid mature trees. The inn is right around the corner from Ridgefield's famously charming Main Street, and a short walk from most of the town's array of restaurants, many of which

The ladies that now run the place are very sweet and accommodating. This was a night out from NYC to burbs. Love the redesigned rooms, location to downtown and general Easy living. Would recommend!

The inn is under new management as of the end of 2019 and they couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. Just really nice people, not intrusive, but always there when you need them. Both the common and private rooms were charming, clean, bright and comfortable and you really can't beat the location. The cook-to-order breakfast was also delicious.

Great Inn (More like a B&B then Hotel) - We loved the quaintness of West Lane Inn! Stayed in the Fire Place Room (highly recommended especially on cold winter nights). Next to Bernard's which is the town's best top rated restaurant! Owner & all the staff were very welcoming. Park your car, leave it & easy walk to downtown Ridgefield & The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Keeler Tavern & the Historical Society!

This is a lovely period inn - not chic/modern - but perfect for the Christmas accommodation we were seeking. The owner was pleasantly professional, not aloof as indicated in other reviews. The standard breakfast was perfect for our needs, particularly after holiday fare elsewhere. Our room on the second floor was spacious, the bathroom recently totally renovated and well designed. Other floors are being renovated in turn.

Were it not for the rude attitude and inhospitable treatment of me and my family by the inn keeper, I would have given our stay a glowing 4-5 star review for clean and convenient accommodations. However the unfriendly owner we encountered made us feel downright unwelcome at every turn - from check in to breakfast to sitting in the lobby. I would still recommend this Inn for anyone looking for accommodations in Ridgefield, especially since there are so few options available, but wish it were run by someone who felt more compelled to make their guests feel welcome during their stay.

Not typical country Inn experience. The location is perfect but the person who handles checking in and checking out was very cold. We have been to numerous Inns, hotels, Spas, etc. and have never experienced such aloof behavior. The dining room staff were very sweet and friendly. The room we were in was very dark as was the entry way because of the wallpaper and could use some updating.

We were going to a concert at the Ridgefield Playhouse and decided to stay overnight at the West Lane Inn. It was wonderful. Located in a nice town atmosphere, beautiful building and very close to the playhouse. Our room was very clean and cozy. Good sized room with nice furnishings and comfortable bed. large closet. Nice complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. we truly enjoyed our stay.

This Inn is set in the beautiful lush green country of Connecticut. It is a quite impressive new england style home. Stayed for a couple of nights. It is adaquate. What it is lacking is a cheerfulness, a warmth, a generous feeling. The owners are not warm or welcoming, or generous, like you'd expect from a country inn. They are rather unfriendly and cold. The foyer is rather drab, and run down, it is all dark green, could all use an infusion of cheerfulness. The breakfast is a joke-costco style blueberry muffins with your coffee or tea and o.j, everything else is extra . (eggs, toast, etc
