As you enter the room the strong smell of urine and mold hits you. You realize this place is the last place you want to sleep. The room, at this point, can only be cleaned with fire and bleach. So, to those who wish to brave it out and stay in what I would consider is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, MAY GOD PROTECT YOU.

I had a great experience at Amsterdam Hotel! I had to stop in Stamford on a whim because I was having car troubles passing through. The woman at the front desk was so helpful and charismatic and really made for a great experience. My room was clean and comfortable and cozy. Great value and great experience :)

From the friendly front desk staff, to the accommodating needs such as a cart for bags or numerous amounts of pamphlets for places to visit or eat. This hotel has everything you need for a wonderful night's day. Even a fun day just lounging around enjoying yourself. They have a small gym great for a fast hard workout. A continental breakfast from 7:30 a.m. till 10:00. It includes bagels that can be toasted as well as muffins cereal, bananas and apples. I would guess fruits according to the time of year. Hot coffee and tea. As well as a juice. Each room is not only stopped with a microwave mini
