Our mission is to provide quality child care in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. To provide an opportunity for learning at age appropriate levels and to develop a life long excitement and love for learning. Johnston Child Care Center has a unique quality program designed for children as young as six weeks old.
Our program introduces daily developmental age appropriate activities and learning experiences for each child's needs. Our teachers offer creative experiences to help guide the children through their developmental stages - socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively and to give each child the guidance to experience their own creative learning style.

Services
Johnston Child Care Center was established in 1996. We are a fully licensed child care center by D.C.Y.F. Our services include full time and part time infant, toddler and pre-school care. In addition, we offer before and after school program and a summer program (6 - 12 years old). Our facility is located at 87 Putnam Pike (Route 44) in Johnston, RI.

My son loves his teachers and friends at the Johnston Child Care Center. It's a relief to know he's in good hands all day, and he's learned so much since he's been enrolled. I will continue to recommend it to anyone who's looking for great child care.

My son went to JCC beginning as an infant when the daycare he was in, KinderCare, closed. He graduated from Pre K and is now in Kindergarten. Never once in all of the almost 6 years he was there did I have a complaint or see something I didn't like. He made friends and learned a lot while at JCC. The teachers are excellent. The facility is managed properly and very clean. This is the best daycare/pre K in the area!

My daughter started at Johnston Child Care in 2017 when she was 10 weeks old. She is now in preschool here and was writing her name at 3 years old. To say the level of education is exceptional would be an understatement. I now bring my son here as well and I LOVE this school along with everyone that works here. The turnover of teachers is minimal which goes to show they are treated well which in turn makes for happy children. They look forward to going everyday and that alone is worth any price in the world!
