TM's Makeup Artistry

I came across Timsi's website back in April when I was looking for a makeup artist for my low key, low budget wedding. I love doing my own makeup and was skeptical if I should even hire someone to do it for my wedding day. But after going back and forth a few times with her on the phone, I finally told her I wanted to hire her. One thing I love about her was that every time I talked to her, she never made me feel pressured to hire her services. She was understanding of the fact that I was a full time student with a very small wedding budget. She did a trial about a month before the wedding

Timsi was absolutely perfect! When I first met her for a hair and makeup trial, I knew that she would listen to what I was saying (and be able to tell what I was TRYING to say haha) and help me carry out the perfect look for my wedding. I had a traditional South Indian wedding so it was important to me that she would be able to work with the look I was going for (saree to lehenga) but be able to do it well with the fair skin and light hair (I am as white as a girl can get, let me tell you).

I have absolutely never done anything like this! I was very particular when it came to who I wanted touching my hair and makeup for my wedding and did not want to be let down. Timsi was sooo easy to work with. Very low pressure, she really encourages your feedback and wants you to look your own verison of perfect. I opted to do the trial with the event and I'm so glad we did the trial first! She made me feel gorgeous and I felt prepared for what to expect come the wedding day. Timsi was the best decision I made for my wedding! She's extremely skilled and perfectly recreated the ideas I shared with her, while taking a lot of time to discuss ideas and share her recommendations as well. She was always open to trying the ideas I suggested and just as open to scrapping those ideas when I didn't like them on me. Her recommendations reflected deep expertise in her art. She helped me figure out the looks that would work on me, specifically, and made me feel very comfortable going into my wedding. Timsi was the real star of my wedding! (and Sangeeth)! I don't know how to thank her for her incredible work. I've never worn much makeup at all and I rarely do anything with my hair. My first bridal makeup trial (somewhere else) left me looking like a stranger and feeling uncomfortable. Enter Timsi, who helped me articulate my makeup wishes (it turns out I do have some) and then executed them perfectly! I received more compliments than I can count at both events. She made me look like the best version of myself-very elegant and yet totally natural and like myself!

Timsi did my makeup and hair for the wedding and she did a wonderful job at it. I'm not very comfortable with makeup in general and Timsi kept it very natural and made me comfortable with what she did. She did an amazing work on both my makeup and hair, it lasted the whole day and I received a lot of compliments. She is knowledgeable and very skilled at what she does. Her work is just amazing but other than that she as a person is great to work with. If you have a big event ahead ,Timsi is the person you can trust with.

I couldn't have asked for more when it came to Timsi! She is an amazing artist and professional, and beyond sweet, to boot! She did my hair and makeup for 2 of my events, and was SO attentive. She is very skilled at different styles of hair and makeup - we didn't even have a trial session, and she answered all my questions leading up to our sessions. I am SO thankful to her for making my special day absolutely perfect!

You absolutely will not regret going with Timsi! She did my hair and makeup for my Sangeet, Wedding and Reception. Even though it was a destination wedding, she helped work out a time for us to do a trial run a couple of months before the wedding. She was so sweet and wonderful to work with, I immediately knew that I made the right choice.

Timsi was super lovely to work with! She did my sangeet hair, makeup, and dressed me in my lehenga. I was blown away by her skill! My husband's jaw dropped when he saw me!

Timsi listened to my requests. I told her I didn't want anything too crazy/over the top. She checked in with me regularly and required very minimal instruction. She was super organized and on time. I appreciated how she made time for me on Thanksgiving week - even though she had a crazy busy schedule.

Timsi did my hair and makeup for my sangeet night, wedding, and reception. She was a dream to work with. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable about so many different skin types, hair styles, and makeup styles. She's skilled at Indian style makeup and hair, including South Indian hair styles. She's also someone who will work with you to bring any hair/makeup inspiration to life.

Really impressed with Timsi's professionalism and skill. During my trial, she made several really helpful suggestions for improving my skin so that when our wedding day arrived, I had great complexion. She also recommended getting hair extensions which was a great decision. She took my desires and wants to heart and gave me two beautiful styles (for both my Indian and Western wedding). I worked with Timsi for both my engagement shoot and for my Jago. She did my hair and makeup for both events. Let me first start off by saying I'm normally someone who does very minimal makeup and has little idea of contour/highlight/false lashes/etc. Timsi is such a sweet, humble, hardworking, and patient individual. Timsi is AMAZING! Your wedding day is going to be one of the best days of your life, and you want to make sure you have someone super talented to help you look your best, as well as really enjoy the experience. I would like to first start off by saying how AMAZING and professional Timsi is! I am new to the bay area and was planning a quick wedding in 5 months without any direction of good makeup artists. It was a blessing in disguise that I was referred to contact Timsi after a very unprofessional makeup artist practically canceled on me. BEST DECISION EVER.

I am very upset about Timsi's professionalism and work ethics. I contacted her 2 weeks ago for makeup and hair styling. Firstly, I didn't get a reply to my message for a week. Then I contacted her on phone requesting for an appointment when she got back to me with lame excuses like, 'her phone broke' and 'she is traveling' etc. After hanging me around for one more week, she finally turned me down by booking some other client.

I'm SO glad I was able to find Timsi through Yelp! I had 8 weeks to plan my wedding, and I wasn't too familiar with the wedding planning process here. I used Yelp for a lot of my vendors, and Timsi was such a great find. Timsi is so sweet and professional! She came in at 4am to get my hair and makeup set up for my 8am wedding. We didn't get the time to do a trial, but I was really happy with the way my makeup turned out for the wedding! I had an event on weekend and Timsi did Hair & Makeup for me and my fashion show models. Her work is totally flawless. She did amazing job with the makeup and hairstyle.
