Not all Makeup artists and Hair stylists can take on the challenge of Asian complexion, Asian hair, and preferences. I've had past experiences where I've asked for "subtle" or "clean" and ended up looking somewhere between a clown and a burlesque/courtesan. Ting has a full grasp on this subtlety if that is what you request. She is able to strategize and deliver on the most specific requests that you might desire (matte vs pearly skin tone, edgy or romantic or cute, etc.) and she has the skillset to toggle between the two for multiple looks for you

I cannot recommend Ting enough! When I got a disastrous spray tan two days before my engagement shoot, I reached out to my wedding planner desperately asking for help, and she put me in touch with Ting. Ting is absolutely incredible. I have a super particular style when it comes to both hair and makeup and Ting truly always delivers! She makes everyone look effortlessly stunning! Ting recently did my hair and makeup for some photos I had done. I don't even know where to begin--she is so incredibly talented and a true artist. One of the most unprofessional companies I've reached out to. I reached out multiple times through their website, email, and phone. The website stated that I'd received a response within 3 business days. I never received a response at all and it's been at least 2 months.

Ting is beyond AMAZING. She is not only my make-up artist but also my friend. My wedding planner had suggested her because I'm usually very picky about my make-up. I wanted to highlight all of my features but in a soft and natural way. She uses all premium brand make up and puts an emphasis on skin care, prepping your skin so that the makeup lasts all day. My skin didn't feel thick and cakey, and when I would sweat or cry on my wedding day, she would be 2 steps away to touch up and give me tissues to make sure I looked flawless. I met Ting in a modeling job in Los Angeles in 2014 for a catalogue photoshoot and we clicked right away. She is such a lovely and kind person, always helpful.
