Although Maryam specializes in wedding and bridal makeup, her services include everything from private one on one makeup lessons to dolling up complete bridal parties to prom and special events makeup.

Little girls often go into their mother's closet to try on their shoes, clothes, and makeup - so desperately trying to look "grownup". I, Maryam Bokhari, was one such girl. I was always going through my mother's makeup drawer and experimenting with different eye shadows and lipstick shades. I did not realize at the time that this would become a lifelong passion.
This is one of the most important days in a girl's life-my goal? To make it perfect. Whether you would like to rock the smokey eyes or keep things simply elegant, I can promise you by the time we're done you will look stunning. I do not believe in using makeup to change your natural features because everyone has their own unique beauty, and makeup should be used to enhance those features.
I believe every girl should have the opportunity to get dolled up, whether it is for their magical wedding day, a night out, or prom. My goal is to accommodate a range of budgets, so please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. For locations further than 10 miles, there is a base charge of $25, then 75 cents per mile.
Maryam did my hair makeup when i was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and she did an amazing job. Maryam did my makeup for a photoshoot and I absolutely loved it so much I went to the store to buy what she used so I could replicate it at home. It was a totally flawless look and still completely natural.

I can't say enough good things about Maryam. She was absolutely wonderful!. Friendly and very professional. Thanks to her, I looked ready for a red-carpet event (and it was only a wedding in Laguna Beach). The makeup included false lashes, and I shared a picture of my gown days before I visited her. Maryam went above and beyond for me for my wedding. I was unsure if I wanted my makeup professionally done because I prefer a more natural look so when I decided to get it done it was already close to the wedding date. Although she already had a packed schedule, she still made time for my trial and wedding day makeup services. Maryam is extremely kind and professional and made me feel at ease. I booked Maryam for bridal makeup and hair styling/extension application services, and I was thrilled with the results. My makeup was flawless and held up for hours in an outdoors daytime event. My hair as well looked amazing throughout the day. The look was great for both photos and real life. Maryam is professional, punctual, and easy to talk to and get a hold of. I found Maryam through Instagram. I started following her because I thought her work was very good. Her personality seemed lovely as well. When the time came to find a Makeup artist, I chose Maryam. I booked 2 hours with Maryam for a make up lesson as I'm almost 59 and my skin has changed a lot since my younger years. I quit wearing make up because I wasn't sure how to apply it to my "older" face. She taught me everything from skincare to a complete face of make up and how to easily transition to a night time look without adding a bunch more product. I had a great experience for bridal makeup. Makeup quality was great. She took so much time to make sure I was satisfied. I met Maryam when she was based in Chicago, several years ago. I had been looking for a makeup artist for my wedding reception but I was running out of time and couldn't find one that was available. Maryam was so thorough and so much fun to work with - we both learned a ton, came out with some great product suggestions (she was great about sharing her experiences with different products, and multiple brands, but in no way pushy about using one specific brand), and had a great time doing it. Words cannot express the amazing work she does! I have had my make up done before but never by someone so knowledgeable about what would be best. Usually you go in and the artist basicly has you direct what to do and does whatever reguardless if it looks good or not. Here with her, she explained to me which looks would be best for me and why. And let me tell you the finished look was amazing! I went from a plain Jane to super model. People were amazed! I will be contacting her again for future events and am telling everyone how amazing her work
