I understand and agree that any information submitted will be forwarded to our office by email and not via a secure messaging system. The nurses and Dr. Son we're super friendly and Dr. Son gave me a great skin check on all moles and information. I'm giving a high rating because I really appreciated the quality of care I received from healthcare professionals and they are the reason I will return.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came here for an appt and the doctor gave no solution to my problem, she payed no mind to the information I was giving her about my issue. Overall it was not a good experience, from not being greeted when walking in to having to see an unexperienced doctor. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

I was recommended to go to this dermatology because I have this mole, I was concerned about. I originally made an appointment last month never got a confirmation and thought maybe it was because it was online, but I've made appointments online before and I usually heard back 1 or 2 business days later, this was not the case. Regardless of those things, I made another appointment weeks in advance to see if I could get my mole checked out. I got an email & text message confirming my appointment but did not receive a call confirming like hey we can approve your insurance plan. Yesterday was my appointment

I was a new patient. Doctor was great. BUT after roughly 12 reminders via text and email from them in the week leading up to my appointment, I got there at 12:50 for my 1pm and was told they were on lunch. Of course that's fine. So I waited in the hallway. At 12:54 front desk staff returned and I walked in behind them. The one girl, not so friendly, reminded me they still weren't open for business yet and to sit on the couch in the waiting area. She didn't say to sign in or anything. A few moments later another patient walked in and was told to sign in and fill out paperwork. I got up and requested

Dr Sons staff has a nasty sassy attitude. What type of medical facility doesn't off their patients a face mask. Since Covid, I've been to my dentist, my physician, and my urologist and all of them have masks IF a patient needs one. Your lack of professionalism will soon catch up with you. Keep up the bad Job. There is no better time to show people you appreciate their business and you guys are doing the COMPLETE opposite of that!!!

I really wanted to love this office until I saw Dr. Son. I began treatment with the nurse practitioner who was very kind and patient. I saw her a total of 3 times before she suggested I see the doctor for further treatment. I sense she no longer felt comfortable working with me due to lack of experience. Though for the record, I feel she's more qualified to operate her own office than Dr. Son will ever be if he continues to handle patients the way he does.
As for Dr. Son. He had a pre-determined "diagnosis" before even entering the room. He didn't even make an attempt to examine me. He was nothing

I would not recommend SCN dermatology, especially for African American skin. I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner, not a dermatologist. I came to SCN for an ingrown hair on my face, near my beard. The Nurse Practitioner shared that the ingrown hair looked as if it was a mole, after explaining to her what it was. She asked me if I would like a topical solution, similar to what is sold in drug stores to get rid of inflammation. I said the inflammation is gone already; no redness, swelling, or anything similar.
The Nurse Practitioner then suggested I get a steroid injection, after I denied the topical

I waited over an hour the first time I came to this office and left because I had to go back to work. I gave the doctor/office the benefit of the doubt and scheduled another appointment just because it’s location was convenient. At my second appointment I waited again over an hour. Reception was kind and apologetic however I will never be back. He needs to have some respect and consideration for his patients. I feel bad for those who have no choice but to continue to go to his office. I do not believe the reviews that they were seen right away. It’s BS

Honestly been seeing this doctor for 20 years! In the past 5 he has spread his office locations and doesn’t care about his patients only the income they bring him. I’m disappointed he stopped caring about medical dermatology and more into cosmetics which he overcharges for and doesn’t see you more than 5 mins before he’s in the room for his next patient. Also your appointment time doesn’t matter it’s a first come first serve. If you call to complain to them they flag your phone number and forward to voicemail. Dr never ever calls back will only see you in office of course for a fee
