Little School

The Little School program began over 45 years ago as a ministry of St. Martin's Episcopal Church. We are a co-educational, play-based preschool serving children ages two to five years old. Our philosophy at The Little School is that children learn through hands-on experiences in a stimulating environment.

Preschool is an exciting time filled with wonder and exploration. At The Little School we believe in providing an excellent and engaging early childhood education experience. Our philosophy is built on the belief that children will excel when given the opportunity to explore and create within their classroom environment.

The Little School has 6 classes accommodating children ages 2 through 5 years of age. Our curriculum is based on a hands-on approach believing all children learn by doing. Each morning begins with free play in our tree shaded, park like yard. In this beautiful setting our children are always engaged in fun activities such as climbing on wooden gym structures, riding bikes, digging in the sandbox and swinging on our tire swing.

Our Extended Day program is offered each afternoon from 12:00pm until 3:00pm. This program may be customized to your needs registering from one afternoon to all five afternoons. Children will need to bring their lunches from home when staying. During the extended day program the children play in the yard, work in the vegetable garden and engage in creative arts before enjoying lunch and rest time.
