Dr. Kevin Harte's thorough and comprehensive internal and external eye exams include testing for visual acuity, eye muscle tracking, a refractive visual analysis, color vision tests, plus visual-motor and binocular vision assessment.
Kevin Harte, O.D., is a graduate of Northern Illinois University's Bachelor of Science program. He then went on to earn his Bachelors of Science in Visual Science and a Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 2001.
His clinical training included rotations with the Tomah VA Medical Center, Tomah, WI; Wolfe Eye Clinic, Cedar Rapids, IA; and the University of Chicago Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM) Bergman Eye Center, Chicago, IL.Dr. Harte is a lifelong resident of the western suburbs and enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities.

Me and relative go in to get eyes checked and new glasses a week later were told BOTH set of glasses are it
NOPE just the relatives glasses are in even through we specifically asked if BOTH sets are it
When my I found out my glasses came it I was told someone would be there till 5 PM that day
When I got there they were closed the hours that day were 8:30 to 1PM reminder we were told someone would be there till 5 THAT DAY!!!

Dr Harte did a Great job, the staff were absolutely terrible! Didn't make my glasses with correct lenses. They argued back and forth with me and refused to make the lenses I paid for.
Went somewhere else so I could actually wear the glasses my insurance paid for and the 485 I paid for. Guess what the glasses didn't even have the correct prescription let alone the transitions I paid for..

Just had a milestone of an appointment trying to find the best options for distance and reading for my aging eyes. Dr. Harte spent a lot of time, energy, and expertise figuring out what would be my best options. He did not rush the process and even drew visuals to help me understand. Been going here for years and will continue to do so.

I had a terrible time with the progressive glasses I purchased from another place and was nervous about replacing them and having the same results. Advanced Family Eye Care Center went above and beyond in holding my hand to ensure that I would have a good outcome. When my glasses were ready and I went in to try them on, I was almost in tears because they were perfect. Thank you so much to all the folks who took turns holding my hanad.
