Through the use of therapeutic contact lenses that you wear while you sleep, you can reduce and eliminate your myopia (nearsightedness). The procedure is called Ortho-Keratology. It is done by using specifically designed retainer lenses that gently reshape your cornea as you sleep. It works like how a retainer works for you teeth.

Wonderful experience here with my young son. Everyone was so friendly, communicative, helpful, and comforting. I was blown away with the fact that the doctor and staff focused on the “ whole” child and not just his eyes. The patience, friendly demeanor, and child like conversation with the doctor kept my son engaged and cooperative. As a mother, I was comfortable and appreciative of the doctors approach of not only being a professional but a parent, too. We will be back!

I have been using Coventry Eyecare for about 5 years now. Never have I been disappointed. I had some issues with the same pair of glasses twice and both times they stepped up and took care of the issue. I recently moved out of Crystal Lake and I live about 25 miles away but will continue to use them for my vision/eyeware needs.

New to area, always a challenge looking for specialists. Saw website, long time local business with great reviews. Was able to schedule online which was responded to immediately and then confirmed. Since we don't do this enough about places we like, only places we have complaints about. I want to give a shout out to Coventry Eyecare in Crystal Lake. If you are looking for a new eye doctor in the area, check this place out. First time there, first they got me in the same day for a full exam and extra testing, they had evening appointments… (bonus!) from the girl at the front desk, the one that brought me from test to test, to the Eye Doctor to the girl who helped me pick out frames, ALL very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, organized and talked to me as person explaining everything
