HouseCheck was responsible in the fact that they called to reschedule our appointment for a later time, since they were hit with Covid. I'm happy that they would not send someone who could be passing it.
Our inspector Eric went through and found some items that needed attention. He also noted some other details that were not structural but would be good to look at like. He gave us good information and suggestions that would help maintain our home. Would definitely recommend!

Thought I would share a resource for folks like us who are in the first year of home ownership. We had a home inspection company come out last week and do a home study for us. They were here for 2-3 hours and were super in depth. We received a full report that covered tons of information to help with the push for LGI to take care of items that need it. The cost was $355 and so well worth it. If anyone would like to get an idea of what is covered, IM me your email and I am happy to share. This home inspection process was extremely detailed and thorough. Upon completion, the inspectors provided a walk-through of all items of interest and what was needed to remediate all deficient items. We also found the inspectors were very responsive to my email questions and provided recommended materials needed to fix the deficiencies. I used HouseCheck for two properties. They did the most throughout report I've ever seen. Eric was extremely patient with us as well. He explained what everything meant and what he thought we should note before getting the actual report.
Also, the actual report came a couple of hours after he did a 6 hour inspection of our fourplex.

Great inspection by Jimmy Cannon. We had the anniversary home inspection done before the builder warranty runs out in June.
Very thorough inspection despite the fact that the house is occupied, there are furnitures and we the homeowners work from home.
Report arrived in my inbox practically few hours later. Love all those cool pictures especially the thermal imaging ones.
I love my 10 months old house even more now because the house is doing really well even after the terrible winter storm back in Feb.

I've used lots of inspection companies for several house purchases and the one I got from HouseCheck was the best. What I liked, versus the others:
+ Photos are right next to the section in question (rather than having all the photos grouped at the end, where you'd have some troubling trying to find what photo was being discussed in the text)
+ Photos are largest of any report I've ordered
+ Colored lines and circles added to the photos to show the issues. (Most other inspectors do this, but not all do.)
+ Problems listed in red type, black for the boilerplate info, allowing
