We were referred to Dr. Lewis by our close family doctor in VA.
Dr. Lewis didn't even come out on the day of our appointment. The receptionist were the rudest people I have ever met. We were waited for about 15 min in the waiting area totally ignored by the 2 receptionists. They were talking all the time and left. Soon after the nurse passed by and asked why we are here. She told us we are in the wrong office. She sent us to her another office and we ended up been seen by the different black female doctor. She was thorough and nice enough.
Several days later, one of the receptionist

I've been going to Amy Lewis's office for quite sometime, five years to be exact! Everything from the check-in to check-out is an incredible experience. The staff that work here are all so down-to-earth and knowledgeable. You leave here feeling like a million bucks!!!

Recently had my toxin done after having a not done great experience with another provider, and so happy with the results! Dr. Lewis has also done fillers for me in the past. I did Bellafill on my cheeks, temples and chin. I have to say I was shocked at how much I really needed the filler in my chin. I had lost so much volume over time. She did everything very natural and I love how it came out!

So I have tried to make an appointment with this office for the past two months and every time I make an appointment they call me back and they either cancel the appointment or try to change the time! I first tried to make an appointment with Dr. Diamond and then with Dr. Lewis... for the past three appointments they have canceled!
My daughter had an appointment again today (4th appointment) and they called and told me that they were closing at 3:00 and her appointment was was at 4 PM so they needed to reschedule..

Love love love-go see Rachel-she's been taking care of me for years (and she accepts insurance-hooray)!
I've never seen Amy-she doesn't take insurance, but I've never had a poor experience because I'm taken care of by the same staff.
Availability is few and far between (hence part of the reason I had to take a star off)--I believe Rachel is only there 2 maybe 3 days a week at most, and they leave early (4/5pm), so that can make it difficult if you're trying to come in and you work full time.
It's also a bit challenging from a parking perspective, so avoid

Been seeing Racehl Dymond here for over 5 years. Have been very happy with her - she's upbeat and positive. Scheduling is easy and the office is clean with water and samples in the waiting area. The only thing I dislike is that it generally feels rushed - there's normally a lot going on in the office and the Drs are bouncing from room to room pretty quickly, which, if you have a few things you want to discuss, is sometimes stressful. I have been a very happy patient of Dr Amy Lewis for over 12 years. From our first meeting when she recommended a skin care regime for my menopause related acne , to our more recent forays into fillers and botex, I have always found her kind, professional, knowledgable and extremely skilled. I trust her completely to give me well informed advice and then to utilize any of her substantial arsenal of lasers, treatments, etc. to keep me looking my youthful best. Dr. Amy Lewis is a gem! She has a great hand and a great eye with all cosmetic dermatologic procedures. I have never waited for more than 10 minutes to see her, and I have always found her to be super professional while also being kind and caring. She works with me to get the best bang for my dollar with various treatments.
I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for any cosmetic dermatology!

Dr. Lewis and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and work together as the most efficient team I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient with. They are intensely thorough in every appointment. Amy also makes the most wonderful retinol products which are reasonably priced. It has worked wonders on my skin. Every visit is so informative. Excellent doctor that cares. Dr Lewis was running late and kept me waiting and I asked her why she was late. She explained that her previous patient had condition that required extra time and attention,and she did not want to rush the patient until she was calm and re-assured. I have been going to Dr Lewis for more than 10 years and recommend her. She is friendly and very skilled.

So frustrating. She is lovely when you meet her in her the office but that only comes after keeping you waiting for over an hour. She does not return phone calls even when they're regarding lab results. I waited 6 weeks for lab results and was told she would call me. She never did despite the fact that I left a couple of messages. Only a nurse would answer my questions and only if they were rudimentary. Not returning a call regarding lab results? While I agree with another reviewer's comments about being kept waiting, I think Dr. Lewis is amazing. A friend I referred to her described her as the Michelangelo of Botox! I have had the most natural looking results from her work and think she does an amazing job but she is pricey and you do end up waiting!

Dr. Lewis sees multiple patients at once - she puts you in a room, does one or two injections, then leaves you sitting there. She then goes to other exam rooms to inject/see different patients while you're left waiting - sometimes for 5 minutes, sometimes for 20 minutes. Then she'll rush back into your exam room, do another couple of injections, and vanish again.
In her waiting room, I was always kept waiting far beyond my appointment times before even being put in an exam room. All this waiting - both between injections during a treatment visit and in her waiting room - is ridiculous
