Our family has been in the restaurant business in Columbus since 1939 for one reason: To serve and support the communities in which we reside. It's been a privilege to feed and assist the Grove City, Ohio, area since we first opened as Plank's on Broadway in 1994. We've held fund-raisers and supported local sports teams with one purpose in mind: To further our city.

Be careful if you go to planks they have a waitresses that like to steal money, my very first time there in the waitress helped herself to an extra $10 off of my credit card AFTER I left her a $6 tip, she still decides to steal from me. Waiting for them to open so I can put a complaint in with management. They will never have my business again.

Pros - food is good and believe family owned and local to Columbus.
Cons - pricey, and the service for take out is mediocre to poor. They've gotten my order wrong the last two times from wings not baked off to completely forgetting a pizza. So when they make the mistake and if caught.. you wait for them to fix the order and they do nothing to make the customer happy.

During the services for my brother I received a voicemail from another restaurant in the Grove City area that they were unable to accommodate us because the game was on. I called Planks around 1:00 to see if they could seat our party of around 40 at 4:00. They came through and let me know they could accommodate us. The food was great as always and… Hannah was an amazing Hostess. We see it as a blessing that we ended up there because it ended up being a wonderful evening. Thank you to Planks for everything. You reaffirmed why I love Planks so much!

I ordered two pizzas with a variety of toppings. I've not been to Plank's for quite some time but the pizza looked appetizing so I decided to give it a try. Totally disappointed. Toppings were generous but the crust was awefull! Something funky about it like it was old dough. Very little sauce to make it worse. I had to throw it out. Never again!! Take your chances.

I used to go to Planks often, after golf outings. I haven't been in about two years prior to tonight... Firstly, the establishment was very dirty. It was evident the waitress did not care about providing any kind of customer service to my table. As soon as we sat down, she asked what we wanted to drink, cool. I ask if she had a menu because I wasn't familiar with the types of wine they have and that's what I really wanted. She came back with ONE food menu and said she had about 5 minutes to get an order into the kitchen a little after 9. I had about 10 seconds to look at it and she stood there
