Such an amazing location. Hidden above the canopy hotel is this beautiful lounge/bar/restaurant with some of the best views of the city. If you're lucky enough, a clear sunset will shine through the floor to ceiling windows and cast an incredible orange light through the entire eatery. Truly beautiful.
The food is top-notch and features locally-sourced ingredients (swainway farms and the butcher & grocer) and fancy plating. Overall, the food is tasty and pretty and the service is wonderful.
The perfect date night and meet-up place for the gal pals or dudes.
Don't miss this place

Had a great birthday meal at Goodale Station! I started off with the Fancy Nancy Drink, which comes garnished with flowers. A little on the expensive side ($18), but worth it if you are celebrating a special occasion. For my meal, I got the burger, which was delicious! It comes with 2 burger patties, brioche bun, cheese, grilled onions, bacon, pickles, and an aioli. For dessert, I had a complementary s'mores flavored dessert. The views and service here were amazing!

Biked here tonight (very cold) but it was worth it. A nice ambiance at this rooftop bar and restaurant with good views.
It's the Tuesday before thanksgiving so there was pretty much every time slot open on opentable so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in it was at probably 1/3 capacity but it means we got a really nice seat (long couch/bench on one side, comfy leather chairs on other side).
The cocktail prices are expensive (seattle prices) but you're paying a premium for the rooftop space and view. We opted for a glass of house cab each and enjoyed it. Very easy to drink

Came for happy hour, stayed for dinner.
Solid happy hour, cocktails $9, wine $6-$8, beer 5
Ambiance is pretty amazing: glass ceiling indoors and two patio areas with solid views. (Not the tallest building in the area, but she gets the job done.)
I decided on the duck confit, very enjoyable, did not disappoint, not the biggest fan of the mashed potatoes, but was pleasantly surprised by the cabbage.
The old fashioned was average.
I really enjoyed the sidecar and would order again.

The drinks and the Glazed Asian pork ribs were on point!! The outdoor seating and view made the experience that much better. Our server was excellent and was spot on with the recommendations Including the fried green tomatoes, chips & dip, cumin lamb dumplings and even the Goodale burger, all were delicious and no doubt we’ll be back again soon!!

Nothing to rave about, but also no complaints. Food was just okay for the price point. The menu was creative, but the dishes when served were pretty average. Didn't have the experience of rude service as others mentioned. Actually our waitress was very attentive, and the manager came around to check how it was going. The atmosphere was very loud (was seated near the bar) . The views were nice.

Goodale Station is an adorable rooftop bar with cute seating and pretty views. It feels upscale, and the prices are higher-than-average, but it's definitely more affordable than it looks. We'll likely be back; we had a fantastic time.
NOTES:
-I recommend a reservation if you're coming during peak hours. Around 4PM (exactly when they opened), there was a line of five people, but it stayed relatively empty until around 6PM. Then they ran out of tables on a random Thursday. Make sure you get a reservation if a specific table (or no wait) is important to you.

This rating is based on the Goodale Room rooftop. It is a modern rooftop with big city vibes with views of Columbus' top employers.
The staff was great as they really want their guest to have the best experience possible. The patio area is amazing with a nice fire area where you can sit and chill with a nice drink.

A good friend from out of state was in for the weekend and 4 of us went to Goodale Station for dinner. The food was delicious. We started with the Glazed Asian Ribs and Korean Fried Cauliflower and drinks for appetizers. Dinner consisted of the Germelli Pasta, Pimento Cheese and Smoked Sausage, Asian Ribs and Grilled Corn, Gem Salad. The spices and sauces created such flavorful dishes. Our waitress Tawni could not be more informed with the dishes and her suggestions were right on. She was so enjoyable and helpful. Of course the view made our evening. Thank you.

Not a great experience. We walked in and told the hostess we had a group of 6. She then sat us at a 5 person table and got defensive when we asked for another chair. She was incredibly rude to us. At a restaurant where drinks are $15+, you'd expect great service. I haven't been treated this poorly in a restaurant ever. She tried to move our whole group into a conference room with tables that had not been cleared off from the previous guests. She finally agreed to give us another chair at our original table but the chair was a bar stool and we were sitting at a low dinner table. We let

This was my first time at Goodale Station even though I've heard wonderful things from friends. The building itself, interior, and view were all amazing. Sitting out on the patio on a summer night is highly recommended.
The drinks were strong and all very good. I don't have too much to dive into specifically except that I thought the drinks were pretty unique and standout.
I thought the menu was a little bit limited, but it fits the overall vibe the restaurant is going for. I would come here for a nice drink and small meal, but probably wouldn't recommend it if you're looking

This place is fun! And also great if you work in the downtown area & want to stop for drinks or dinner. I highly recommend the scallops and local cheese board - pricey, but worth it. Our server was super nice, accommodating, and fast. And the view... it's amazing. I would love to sit on their outdoor deck next time.

We went to dinner tonight, and had easily one of the worst experiences I've had in a downtown dining experience in a while. And this is post Covid.
Let's start with Jordan, our server who smiled at us not once, and who snapped at both me and my friends all night long. She spoke over us when we were trying to give our orders; she presumed things that she couldn't possibly know about our tastes, and when we did ask for corrections, she rolled her eyes at us (we should be able to ask the temperature of the burger and what the accoutrements are, right?).
We tried not to let her obviously bad attitude

Fantastic dining experience in downtown Cbus! I had never heard of this gem, but a friend of mine recommended it for a Happy Hour on a Thursday night.
Ironically, I live about a mile from here, but had no idea this was here. It's at the very top of the Canopy hotel on Nationwide. Blink and you could miss it! You just walk right into the hotel and then take the elevator right up to the top floor.
The scenery is stunning! The wide massive windows give diners a beautiful sprawling view of downtown. I also love how "wide" everything is in here--especially with COVID, you are very far

I came here with a friend on NYE as we had been meaning to try this place. The space is stunning! Views for days of downtown. The espresso cocktail was great, but I most enjoyed the drink called the Fancy Nancy which is very refreshing. We were fortunate enough to be here for both daylight and sunset. The food was just average. We split the "chips and dip" which are potato wedges and a French onion dip. There was a decent serving that we could share. We both had the shrimp and grits. There were only 3-4 pieces of shrimp and I can't say I was wowed. It was a very small serving. However

What a cool space! So full of SUNLIGHT! The clouds were desperately scanning for any faint utterance of blue sky, and even though it was a short lived, it felt so nice to be engulfed in the white tones. And it's spacious, too; compared with other rooftop restaurants in the Short North, this one has used their given square footage to the max and fills more patrons than others. Also, and I won't name any specific places, Mr. (social) President, there's no heinous fee to reserve a couch and table here; that's a hujass mental note to keep in mind. Simply get on Open Table, book

Came here on a Wednesday night to celebrate my birthday. We made reservations but it wasn’t necessary as there was plenty of seating available. We ordered a bottled of champagne, the Korean cauliflower, yellowfin tuna tartare and the braised beef short rib. Everything was absolutely delicious. We were both impressed by the cauliflower, it was the best we’d had in Columbus by far (it’s spicy though- yum!!) The staff was friendly and quick to serve our table. This is a place you can come for dinner or just drinks. It’s upscale but also casual. Really great spot to bring a date or even a client
