We were the hosts of a rehearsal dinner at The Boat House. Regina, our coordinator for the event, was the most pleasant, accommodating and helpful person! She was always available and responded to our questions right away. She went above and beyond every step of the way. Our wait staff, Debbie, Tete and our bartender, Ginny, were gracious and attentive. We highly recommend The Boat House.

Was excited to go to a small wedding on 10/16/2021
What an amazing venue. What a not so great place to have an event.
The only pluses are the building and its location.
What ever room we were in has the door to the deck so many other weddings are coming in and out for pictures Annoying but understandable
The room was great.
Very understaffed ( covid i am sure ) No bartender so the general manager stepped in he was there behind the bar 1/3 to 1/2 the time. Our party of 20 were not even big drinkers I had 1 drink and every time i looked to get another he was gone.
We had 1 server for 20, appetizers

Our ceremony at The Boathouse was beautiful. Our only downfall was the communication was lacking during the planning process. Our initial coordinator left the company, so we went several weeks with no contact person. We were eventually reassigned, but our new contact person was significantly less attentive than our first person. The company also wrote on the calendar that our rehearsal began 30 minutes later than what our contract stated. The coordinator was meeting with other clients, so we were forced to wait the 30 minutes to begin. We originally requested to have the bar closed during our ceremony

Our daughter just held her wedding at the Boathouse and everything was 5 star all the way. From the minute we booked the venue to the last minute of the reception , everything was exceptional. Even in this… Covid 19 time, the were able to accommodate 120 people with dancing and eating. Yes we wore masks, but everyone had fun. The food was delicious, the bartender was just lovely and the servers were kind and helpful. The outside wedding on the patio was so beautiful with the fall foliage, the rivers and the city as the backdrop. I would highly recommend the Boathouse for your next venue

We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Boat House on June 6, 2020. I cannot recommend this place enough! With all of the restrictions going on, they made sure our 160 guests felt safe,… following social distancing guidelines, as well as hand sanitizers everywhere. Common areas were frequently disinfected, and worries of the coronavirus were non-existent! The staff was so friendly throughout the whole experience. When we booked the place in January, we had no idea the road this wedding would take us on. Lyndsi was such a blessing to work with, calming down my bridal nerves

My girlfriend and I went here to celebrate my birthday and, quite honestly, it is the best place I’ve eaten at in Columbus so far thanks to our waitress Tammy and the talented chef. I got the Parmesan crusted… chicken while she got scallops and risotto and both were absolutely amazing. On top of it the bread we received prior to our food was made out of a cast iron and topped with Parmesan. We also decided to get the three cheese macaroni and cheese side which was out of this world and super flavorful. While eating this delicious food we sat by the window that outlooked the lights

Going there for 614 Restaurant Week and I am very pleased with the overall experience and ESPECIALLY the food. Oh dear goodness, the food was delicious - not one of us [of 4] had a negative thing to say about our dishes! Our primary server seemed very stressed [and with not that many people in the restaurant....maybe she was fresh out of orientation? I mean, who hasnt been in those shoes before?!?!] but our food was served hot and the manager, William, was attentive and engaging. I love it when people are proud of the foodx history of their restaurant, and are willing to share information! He told

Went to a association meeting and the atmosphere and service was excellent. The staff was harmonious in their delivery of lunch and made sure plates were taken promptly. One small critique just to be picky would be that there was one set of sconces on the wall that were not lit up and a few of the chairs at our table were inches smaller than the rest. Everything was prepared and tasted great!

William (Manager) saved this from being a 2 star review. Restaurant week- they only served restaurant week menu. Ok. But for a $30 menu, the portion sizes on app could have been a bit more.
Crab cake- nothing special. Had shells.
Mussels- outstanding, needed more.
Trout- was good until...more shells in crab stuffing.
Shrimp pasta- "didn't know if I was eating pasta or having a glass of chardonnay" fit this to a T. Shrimp was large but sauce was very wine flavored.
Chicken- amazing and delicious.
Dessert- NO PANNA COTTA. William TRIED SO HARD to make it better. We applaud and appreciate his

I made reservations although I don't think we needed them. The restaurant wasn't crowded being a Wednesday. It worked out well though. Our server was very attentive as well as knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent. The Gouda Mac n cheese was fantastic. The server was great. It was definitely a positive dining experience and I will probably return. Oh, the few of the rivers is definitely worth it.
