We even decided to switch vets. Bronx loves his new vet & so do I. Thank you all again for being so sweet, patient, and taking such good care of my puppy! Thanks to Dr. Mitchem and her staff at West Lincoln Veterinary Hospital for "caring" for my Boo Bear. Dr. Mitchem cleaned my dogs teeth, did a great job and found that two back teeth were rotten which could have resulted in a much more costly vet bill.

In 1987 Jackie began working at an animal hospital in Winston-Salem, NC where she started working in the kennel. Over the years she has worked in all areas of the hospital. Jackie has done tech work, kennel work, grooming, and worked as a receptionist. Jackie says that being around the animals makes the job fun, no matter where you work in a given day.
Jinx is our four legged receptionist. He can be found most days lying on the receptionist chair by Jackie or on Jackie's computer as she works. He was rescued 11 years ago by Dr. Mitchem. He is officially Dr. Mitchem's husband Wayne's cat, but he lives at West Lincoln Veterinary Hospital now because he loves interacting with people.
Appointments are always appreciated as it allows us to give you and your pet the attention you need in the most timely fashion. However, we also understand that emergencies, illness, injury, or other foreseen circumstances make this difficult. In such cases, please be certain that we will make every effort to work around your schedule.

I sadly had to give my 18 year old teacup chichauchau Ginger Rae to GOD today. Ginger had been having strokes for months and was both blind and deaf. Crystal and her staff were very kind and understanding and handle Ginger with the utmost care and respect and myself included. I am so very thankful for their support during this sad and hard time. Thank you all🙏💙🐈💔😿

My first time using this vet and not the last. They were very courteous during appointment setup. When I arrived, they asked lots of good questions about my cat's health and living environment. I didn't have to wait long for the appointment to begin or complete. I also noticed the staff seemed to have a good relationship with the other pets and owners who were waiting as well. All said, good veterinarian practice!

They are only offering curbside service right now. I called on arrival to check in, then it took about 10 mins before someone came for my pup. She was there for shots and fecal year, but I added a last minute purchase of flea medicine to my order.
My pup was in and out in about 5 mins with a wiggle to her tail. She loves this Vet .
I have been coming here about 5 years for all my veternarian needs for all my animals and have been extremely pleased every time. AND, their prices are better than other Vets I've used. I would definitely recommend this Vet service.

Dr. Kitchen is one of the most caring Veterinarians I've ever taken one of our pets to visit. Extra thorough, and even made a follow-up phone call just to make sure that our cat was doing okay on his new meds. Highly recommend her and the staff to anyone, whether you live in the area, or just need a caring, professional vet for your fur babies!!
