Dr. Gary Stutesman graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1992. He and his wife, Lisa, and four children then moved to Hickory, North Carolina. Your female pet can live a longer, healthier life! Spaying helps prevent uterine infections and breast cancer, which is fatal in about 50 percent of dogs and 90 percent of cats. Spaying your pet before her first heat offers the best protection from this disease. Spaying also reduces the amount of unwanted litters of puppies/kittens.

I am new to the Hickory area and experienced an emergency with one of my dogs. Mountain View Animal Hospital stepped up and took amazing care of my baby! They are extremely professional and caring and go the extra mile to make sure that all bases are covered with their patients. I am confident that the vets and their staff offer the highest quality of care for my fur babies. I highly recommend this practice!

Good vet hospital. Staff treated my dog super nice and they all are extremely polite. Dr. Derek Lindstrom took time to answer my questions and I have complete confidence the my dog is getting quality care. No waiting a week to get an appointment if you need one. That is important to me. If I feel my animal needs vet care, why would I want to wait a week to 10 days to see someone. Always have been able to get in within 24 hours at this hospital. I highly recommend them.
