I’ve had a great experience living here! The clubhouse and gym are nice additions, and the apartment itself is the best I’ve ever had for the price.

Really great place to live. The very little maintenance requests I've had have always been addressed promptly and with the highest quality work. Excellent team at an awesome spot.

I've been a resident for 2 years going on 3, and Woodland Mews has my heart! Not only the staff, but the community as well. Ranging from the community events (Food Trucks, Arts & Crafts, Competitions, Weekly Giveaways, etc.) to my morning hot chocolate from the office, this place knows how to take care of you! I am very particular about my living space, Woodland Mews has gone above and beyond to make sure that I have everything that I need, and more. Thank you Mews family!
I've attached a photo of my beautiful view from my porch, love it!

The community at Woodland Mews is amazing. I would definitely recommend living here. I lived in a different apartment for my first 3 years of undergrad at U-M and even with all the college shenanigans I didn’t feel as close to the community as I do here.

The reason I have stayed here is because of Brittany S - amazing manager and Eric - dedicated head of maintenance as well as quality tenants and the dog park. The location is excellent but the apartments are old and need major upgrading. Unfortunately they are not doing this for loyal tenants who have been here for years like myself. Rent has also gone up.(during a pandemic too), only because of skyrocketing rental prices around the Ann Arbor community not because it makes any sense for what you receive. But being nestled against the woods is nice if you can manage to find an apartment with some

Great location and clean apartment complex. The pool is really nice and the staff does a great job getting it ready. The gym is small but mighty, having all the equipment to get a solid work out in. The apartment uses an app to access the gym so you don't have to carry around a key and it's open 24/7. The staff goes above and beyond to host fun events every month - Dominos pizza night, Waffle Wednesday, BBQs, and more. Only downside is there's limited parking when you have many guests. Otherwise, it's a great apartment complex and I highly recommend it to others!

Friendly and helpful staff and the location is amazing. I enjoy the several events the main office has to offer each month including free food and entertainment. The only thing that can be a burden is having guests over because parking is limited.

Friendly and easy to make sure that you can get a good apartment. They accommodated me with their pet policy, which was a relief! Looking forward to living there.

Manager Amanda clearly has zero interest in customer service and the office staff is "prohibited by policy" from providing any corporate contact information--even information that I eventually found listed in the public section of their own website. Once you move in they almost immediately apply intense pressure to get you to sign a lease for an additional term. Had I realized what type of service I would receive from this company I would never have moved in in the first place, much less signed an additional one-year lease. If you're thinking of renting here do yourself a favor and

The location is probably the number one reason we live here. We take the bus to work, which has saved us a lot in gas and parking costs. Umich health has several clinics nearby - our PCP clinic is nearby, and our physical therapist's clinic is nearby too. The only negative about the location is game day Saturdays in the Fall when traffic is crazy. The maintenance staff is the best in the business. They are very prompt and get the job done. It's a very pet friendly place to live. The dog park is great, and our vet clinic is across the street. They have several resident events throughout

I love living here! Everything is super nice and updated, the location on the bus line and close to downtown is amazing. The prices are very reasonable especially for all of the great amenities they have to offer. My apartment is also quite big and doesn't feel cramped like some others in the area.

Woodland Mews was one of the most horrible rental experiences of my life. I rented from them in 2010 with my family and initially everything seemed great. However, when we encountered problems (a leaky roof that destroyed the closet, some clothes and the floor in the area, a deck that was unstable and that we were told ultimately could fall, running toilets that would occasionally overflow) they were not fixed - at all. We complained and complained about the problems and ultimately had to withhold rent to have them come and fix what was wrong. The leaks from the roof had destroyed the ceiling

Let me just start by saying management is horrible. They don't care about their residents and will screw you over with fees and early renewals (like 3 months after you move in for the next year) they probably do this so they can try to lock you in before you realize how terrible the management actually is. They are unorganized and make numerous mistakes on your lease and then when they find out they messed up they'll back charge you for monthly fees a half a year later and threaten to evict you if you don't pay by all of them by the next rent. Be careful. You can't trust them

We tried to rent an apartment here. We really did.

When we walked into the hipster-paradise that is the lobby, the young lady behind the desk never stood up, and barely acknowledged us. She then informed us that "All leases start in August", and gave us a list of residents we can "text to see about maybe figuring out a private sublease". She refused to show us an apartment, to describe amenities, anything. Then, after shoving the text list at us one more time, she went back to her phone.

Maybe the policies are as silly as she made them sound. Maybe she was just a bad

Do not move in here. Our basement window has been broken for almost 3 months now (in "fairness", they put a trash bag over it about a month ago). We've been patient and nice, and now we have spotted at least one mouse in our basement. We called the front office and they have deemed it to be a non-emergency and will not help us remove the mouse. This is typical for maintenance repairs-- we waited 2.5 weeks for our kitchen drawer to be fixed (turns out that it needed A screw). Currently our outdoor lights also do not work and are waiting to be fixed. Furthermore most units currently

The only good thing about living here besides the access to the strip mall over the hill would be the maintenance staff. The buildings are built terribly with huge gaps under the doors making electric bills outrageous. Dealing with the office is difficult just due to their general incompetence and conflicting understanding of their own policies. Also their means of giving you notice for something is by putting a flyer in your door. We live in Michigan. Enough said. The way they spend your overpriced rent is by putting a ton of TVs in the leasing office for no particular reason. I couldn't
