I was never a patient here, but my wife was and they sent her bill to a collection agency despite our never having seen it. I believe it was emailed to her and went to her spam folder. We had no problem paying the bill, but when I called they refused to take it out of the collection agency. So basically they screwed up my wife's credit for a 90 day old invoice that we never received and refused to accommodate a reasonable ask that they simply take it out of the collection agency before we paid the amount in full. Thanks for putting your patients first!

The who's who of NYC were coming and going. It's for a reason. I came in for both a medical and cosmetic issue. Dr. Glass made me comfortable, answered every question/concern the way a friend would and delivered exceptional results. His staff and office were exceptional. I have seen several dermatologist in different states and countries. I will only use Dr. Glass moving forward.

This practice is a scam. They will provide an invoice for your visit and then slap you with another bill out of no where before seeing you again. I never got a call back from Dr. Glass so everything was passed along from the assistants. Even when I had an infection and needed antibiotics the doctor still didn't call and they wanted me to pay for a virtual visit with the other doctor when they already saw what it looked like. I don't feel that they care for the patients as much they care about the green. I've moved my business elsewhere.

Carrie has helped me SO much in my journey of getting my face back to normal after I mistakenly went to a Medspa and was botched. Originally wanting a little drop of Restylane filler in my tear trough, the nurse ended up convincing me that what I needed was cheek filler to solve my problem. Before I could speak up and tell her I didn't think I needed cheek filler she poked my face and filled my cheeks with permanent non dissolvable filler. Long story short I've been angry at myself and looking for a solution. Carrie has been so patient with me, trying to help me go back to the way I looked

I was thinking today about the places I'd miss if I moved out of New York...57 West Dermatology would definitely top that list! Carrie is just the best--beyond being super professional, fast, and an expert in her field, she is the cutest, sweetest, and most personable practitioner you could hope to meet. She's like the big sister you never had, or the popular girl in high school who sticks up for the weird, loner kids that everyone else makes fun of. What does that even mean? I'm not sure, but I always love going there and seeing her. She is such a positive, "up" individual

Dr Carrie is great with microdermabrasion, but burnt my neck and chin with a laser hair removal treatment. She didn't offer a refund after I sent in pics she just offered a cream free of charge. The cream did nothing my skin is still the same now I have burned marks. Went in to get a problem area fixed walked out sore, hurt, and burnt.

After having a really bad experience with a previous dermatologist, I cannot day enough about how awesome this place is! Carrie is fantastic--she took the time to explain to me everything, and took genuine concern about my overall skin health. I was expecting the gel I was prescribed to take at least a week to arrive from the special pharmacy the office had to order from, but it was at my door the next day by the time I got home from work! This office seems like a well oiled machine and I am just so happy that I found them!

I was referred to Dr. Alan Glass (57 West Derm) by my chiropractor (Dr. Jeff Rosenberg, who is - spoiler alert - also an awesome medical professional). I wanted a full-body check as it has been a long time since seeing a dermatologist.
The referral could not have been more positive. The office team and medical assistants are all efficient, polite, and helpful. I called and there was an opening for the next business day. I filled out paperwork in advance via a link to an app they sent me, which expedited check-in. I arrived a little early, was in an exam room early, and was seen on time.

I can't believe I have yet to write a review for this wonderful practice. I've been coming here for years, and have seen both Carrie and Dr. Glass for various things- acne, lasers, skin checks, allergic reactions. Both Carrie and Dr. Glass are excellent! They really take their time, answer all my questions, and give advice when I'm not sure which treatment plan to go with. I cycled through a few dermatologists before I found this practice- I hate feeling like I only have 30 seconds, or that they just prescribe some cookie cutter treatment plan. Not here!

The waiting area (in fact the entire practice) is quite small, but it works.
Carrie is one of the nicest, funniest people around and makes going for a skin checkup a piece of cake. She allows you time to ask any questions you have (even when the waiting room is full!) and gives really good advice that I've trusted over and over again.
I haven't needed to see Dr. Glass yet but caught him at the front desk one afternoon making a sarcastic joke, which I thought was hilarious.
Also, front desk are so responsive

Carrie is an absolute pleasure. I've been seeing her for six years now for all my skincare needs. She is flawless with her precision in the botox and fillers I've had done over the years and she focuses on the finest details in all her patients, making them appear as the best possible version of themselves. 57 West is a great experience. They stay open pretty late compared to others and accept a wide range of insurance (mine isn't accepted many places, but here is was not a problem). My two experiences were very short wait times and friendly staff. Dr. Doolan helped me treat a few issues with recommendations that worked like a charm. Highly recommended in my opinion.

It's such a disappointment when you work in Healthcare and treat patients with respect and then actually be a patient and not even be treated like a human being. Samantha, the receptionist, couldn't bother to acknowledge my presence because she was too busy flirting with the male patient who was already done with his appointment. I got nothing but eyerolls and looks of disdain from her for providing her with an EOB (which had every detail about my insurance). When I told her she can call also call to check my eligibility, I got another eyeroll. She then told me I couldn't be seen

I haven't been to the dermatologist in a while, but I woke up one day with a bumpy and painful red bump on my lower back so I knew I had to act! Of course I drove myself crazy trying to figure out what could be going on and hoping it would go away, but after a couple days with no change I made an appointment and I'm glad to say that everything is going to be ok!

57 West Dermatology is so wonderful! I recently moved from Texas and needed to find someone trustworthy to tend to my skin. I was referred to Carrie and so thankful because she and her team are the best. She did my skin check and made me feel very comfortable. I then booked an appointment to get rid of my sun spots on my face that had been bothering me. Dr. Glass took great care of me today and explained thoroughly the process and sent me home with some good cream for aftercare.
This practice is so convenient. Carrie was able to step in after my laser treatment to give me a touch up with Botox
