When our managing member, Simpson Doakes, needed non-emergency medical transport after an accident, he was horrified that the simple process of driving a person from his home to the doctor's office was so complicated by paperwork and so inefficient it left patients stranded!
When he recovered in 2008, he and his partner, Will Johnson, founded J&J Mobile Services, a Veteran Owned business, which today is a leader and innovator in Non Emergency Medical Transportation.Early in 2011, J&J Transport expanded to offer Courier and Same-Day Delivery Service. Simpson Doakes, a Vietnam Veteran, was awarded a National Defense Service Medal.

Medically trained personnel to insure the safe and proper transfer of patients of parties with various medical history. All vehicles are part of a comprehensive maintenance plan and are replaced after a per-determined number of miles. Although we are not an ambulance service, we do place medically trained personnel on board all of our vehicle.
J&J Mobile Services provides quality care PARATRANSIT Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Metro Detroit, Wheel Chair Transportation serving Wayne, Macomb and Oakland Counties. We are a NON-MEDICAID transportation service-but specialize in transportation for persons with a variety of medical and physical conditions.
The primary responsibility of the Driver is to provide timely, safe and courteous transportation in an effective manner. The Driver is permitted to operate lift accessible vans. We seek highly motivated and experienced Drivers with a background in dealing with the public. Knowledge in driving preferred.
