66 Pearl
66 Pearl is a collection of newly renovated studio, one, two and three bedrooms units showcasing rustic loft-like apartments with brand new open kitchens, stainless steel appliances, renovated bathrooms with marble tiles and functional living spaces. The residences offer high ceiling, hardwood floors, large multi-paned windows, exposed brick walls and controlled HVAC.

Located at the intersection of three streets, 66 Pearl is a hub for social and cultural activity in the Financial District. The building is nearby such historic landmarks as Fraunces Tavern and Stone Street, and the weekly farmers market on Coenties Slip Park offers a quaint place to relax and enjoy a fresh treat in the summertime.

The building is fine by New York City standards. We only had 2 rat experiences in the apartment during my 18 month lease. Unfortunately, W Brothers Property Management is horrendous. After several attempts to contact them regarding the additional month's rent I was being charged, they only responded once my father (who is not on my lease or responsible for the property in any way) got involved. Even then, I did not receive a response, he did. This behavior took place several times throughout my lease. Do yourself a favor, find another building in the FiDi to avoid this property management

I've lived in a lot of apartments but this is by far the WORST management I have ever had. I have had a constant cockroach problem since I've moved in, even though I keep my apartment very clean. Management refused to acknowledge the issue at first until I was sending photographic evidence, and even then they have failed to address the issue.

My air conditioner broke in the middle of May and management did absolutely nothing to remedy it. Ive spent a month and a half without AC in the middle of summer, during coronavirus when we're working from home. It's over 80 degrees in

Lived here for 2 years. Really great value for the money. Excellent location close to pretty much every subway stop. Super historic and beautiful block which is very quiet. Live in super is very responsive to any maintenance requests. Updated bathrooms and kitchen which is nice, soaker tub was the best bath tub I've ever had.

W Brothers did not fix ongoing issues throughout the year, such as the heat and a/c units frequently not working. In the winter it dipped below freezing multiple times and in the summer it reached over 100. This was absolutely unacceptable.

If the heat/ac units would've been replaced earlier on, we would've had much less of a problem however in addition to all the heating/cooling issues there was a discrepancy regarding our lease end date. Instead of being communicative and seeking to find a solution, management frequently forgot what the situation was and often provided misinformation

I never thought a management company could be worse - until the new management company took over. W Managament is exactly the same: an arrogant, unresponsive, greedy family who literally could not care less about their tenants.

Since my last review, there have been hundreds of additonal complaints about noise, filth, etc & zero responses.

Update: Things actually went reasonably well until this summer when the AC just stopped working in most units throughout the building. The response all summer was "well, it's really hot out."

It was a very difficult challenge, but W Brothers

Where do I begin? Lck of heating, terrible management, very slow responses from supper. Will start to fill in all the pitfalls of what seemed a newly renovated building with character. The 9 months experience is near a horror movie for my family, even with the most expensive unit in the whole building, duplex with roof deck. The owner W Brothers, Josh, Reuben, David Weissfeld will promise you a ton, and deliver very little, and so trigger happy to start eviction and litigation. Do not live in this building under their management unless you need the experience to write a surrealistic story

I have been living here for about 2 months now, and I couldn't be happier. The apartment is well maintained and beautiful. The location is great and people in the building are nice. I highly recommend 66 Pearl Street to anyone looking for an affordable option in the Financial District.
