This is the best Apartment Complex in Hampton Roads. Hands down. The management team here is top notch. The amenities are world class. The environment and higher end feel is present everywhere. If there is ever an issue the staff is on top of it. Willie, takes care of every maintenance need and more! The ladies in the office are always helpful, informative, and can get you information or answer any questions without skipping a beat. Best complex I’ve ever lived in by far and hands down. Worth every penny.

My daughter is having a mold problem as we speak and the staff is trying to blame her for the issue saying it is the ventilation from her running the ac. No one is trying to get a mold inspection out there. How is a brand new building having a mold problem in a closet? I know. The ventilation from the bathroom is in her closet or something. It’s all over her shoes. This is unacceptable.

My boyfriend and I have been living at our apartment at Coastal 61 for almost 2 months and we are so happy to call this community our home. We are so happy with our 3rd floor 2br 2bathroom that overlooks the beautiful pond.
One of our favorite things to do in just sit outside on our balcony and watch the geese and ducks battle over pond territory. Also, we were so happy to see the young ducklings a few weeks ago swimming around with their mom! Watching all the birds has been great entertainment for our dog as well!

After searching for months for the right place for us, my wife and I chose Coastal 61. A couple of the things that drove us to make the decision to move here were that 1) it’s extremely central to shopping, interstates, family, etc 2) our building was brand new and we’d be the first people living in our unit and 3) the staff, specially Samantha, Jeff, Gabrielle and Willie, is extremely personable, responsive to emails/maintenance requests, updating us when packages arrive and overall are just pleasant people. Moved here about three weeks ago. Office staff were amazing!! They let me come in and get measurements before my lease even started. Everything is brand new! I'm on the second floor and all I can hear is my thoughts. No footsteps, no yelling, screaming, running children, etc. Parking is a bit tight, but I always find a space. Love how everything is brand new! I put in a maintenance request (user error on my part) and a tech came one hour later! Lol. Thanks Coastal!

Coastal 61 is great so far! The staff is very nice and professional, especially Kaila in the office! Very preventive and protective in regards to COVID-19 amongst the staff and towards us as residents. Just wish they would close our gates at night and not leave them open. They’ve been open for weeks. Also, they should look into making more guest parking because it’s pretty hectic on weekends.

I absolutely love it here we’ve only had minor issues like a squeak in the dryer, the front door gets stuck sometimes, and the patio door creeps open randomly — but these things are MINUT compared to the luxury of the apartment! The finishes are gorgeous and it definitely matched our style! And I can’t forget to mention the 24 hour gym!!! Steve and Kara (I hope that’s her name!) are AWESOME!!!! I moved in during September, 2020. I mentioned and have been complaining about a beetle infestation in my apartment ever since DAY 1. I have been advised that they are coming from behind the walls & light fixtures. After “treating” my apartment who knows how many times & throwing out hundreds of dollars worth of new and/or unopened food items after it was initially insisted that I had pantry beetles (which I do not & never had) & being told that I needed to find the source of the problem...here we are almost in February & the issue is still present to no

Just moved into my apartment this week. Highly recommend this brand new complex to all. Especially dog lovers as the dog park is huge for an apartment building. The entire office staff are very friendly and helpful with the many questions I had prior to and during the move. They also continue to be there for you for any assistance.
