Great wine starts in the vineyard. Crushed, pressed and stored in the finest French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. These barrels shape, smooth and accentuate the best qualities of each varietal, blending or "twisting" the best characteristics that each barrel has to offer, ending up with exquisite wine. We hope you enjoy our wine as much as we enjoy making it.
Services
Twisted Barrel Winery offers a new take on an old art. As one of Lodi's boutique-style wineries, the family business is creating small lot, quality wines that specialize in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese varietals. The winery combines family, friendship and an open door policy to raise the bar and create an all inclusive tasting experience for all to enjoy.

My family and I stopped in a few days ago. First timers though I've passed by many times. The two ladies that helped us were so pleasant and fun. It's beautiful inside the little tasting room. The barrel walls are so cool! We tasted the Barbera and Sangiovese since they were having a super good deal on a half/half case. We ended up getting a case. They're delicious everyday wines. I poured a couple of the bottles that night for a private event and had great reviews on it. I gave their cards out and recommended they go in.

Twisted Barrel is located in a parking lot with commercial building units so parking is plentiful. They're currently tasting outside in the parking lot and they make do with what they have. Wines are solidly pleasant and very reasonable priced. Staff was friendly and helpful. Most people go home with a case of wine since there's a deep discount for a case sale. Give it a try!

I love this winery! A happy family is how I feel every time I'm here. While the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly I'm really here for the wine, what else! There is a quality in this wine I've found nowhere else... my personal favorites are the Tempranillo, Touriga, Petite Sirah and....who am I kidding, they are all fantastic. The philosophy here is great wine at a great price and they hold firm to both parts of this in every bottle.
Please stop by, do a tasting, buy a bottle and then come back with a friend, they are a secret worth sharing!

This is a place I will definitely be returning to in the future. The tasting room is somewhere I could come and get some work done with a glass of wine, listening to the music and people in the background. I'd love to be able to stop in when they have live music. Jen and the gentleman whose name I failed to catch (owner I believe) were the two that helped me out today... great customer service. The zin and cab (of course I can't remember the year now) were among my favorite on today's tasting. Looking forward to another visit!

This is mine and my husbands favorite tasting room in downtown Lodi! Everyone there, especially Jessica, goes out of their way to make sure we are happy and always give us and everyone else awesome customer service . They have fun events frequently like paint nights, yoga classes, wine and cheese pairings and live music almost every weekend. They have a nice patio area in the back and offer a killer meat and cheese plate and also have food at almost every event. My favorite wine is the Symphony and being a member means I can have FREE glass of it every time I come in! Stop by and see for yourself

This is my favorite stop in Lodi by far. The delicious varietals offered here are amazing. I looked all over for a good Sangiovese in the area and successfully found the most delicious one I've ever had!
What's even better is the laid back feel of the environment and staff. Jessica is our favorite when we visit. She's always ready to chat and makes you feel like family.
This small family owned winery has an awesome back story. Stop in sometime and discover why they are growing so quickly. You will not be disappointed.

We had the best experience here. Jessica was the best. Super friendly. We walked in starving and she recommended the Mexican restaurant next door who delivered the food to us. Poured a list full of wines and we LOVED them all. I loved them so much that I canceled my other wine membership and joined Twisted Barrel. Can't wait to get my shipment. Family owned. We met grandma who does all the marketing and social media - love it!! Look forward to coming back!

This review is an absolute must. I ended up at this Twisted barrel after the Michael David winery comedy special last night. Oh my goodness what a wine tasting room!!! This place is family-owned. When I tell you that they treat you like family... as soon as you walk in the door I am not lying. All the people working there want to stop and talk to you and ask you where you're from. We had such a wonderful conversation last night. I met some of the most greatest people in the WORLD... I am so excited about my new friends. We had a little backyard patio concert that was off the hook. I met people

More and more wineries are moving to Downtown Lodi similar to other cities like Murphys and Sutter Creek. Twisted Barrel moved into their new urban location which is a great option on Pine Street. Street parking is limited, but there are a few lots within walking distance.
The interior is great with a large marble tasting bar and several tables. You can also taste at the window looking out on the street. I was able to sample the menu quite easily and found many that were appealing. Their style is more of a Tuesday night wine which is just fine with me!

This place is a absolutely worth a visit. You are always welcomed in warmly. If you are lucky enough to visit with Mark is working you might even be treated to some sips from the barrels. They are a located in an industrial park area of Lodi but don't be fooled by the location you are in for a treat.

First time in Lodi and I was incredibly surprised at the service and quality of wine here.
First, having spent enough time in Napa and Sonoma, it was so incredible to experience wine tasting in Lodi.
This place makes some seriously great wine. True to the fruit and not over oaked. I told myself i wouldn't join any clubs out here, but after visiting here I couldn't resist.
Super affordable wines, vintner and owner pouring and hanging with you....you just can't beat that experience.

So amusingly, they weren't on my giant list of places I wanted to hit up while I was in Lodi over the weekend - I didn't even know they were there, I was there in the parking lot to visit McCay next door (bought a groupon), and popped into Twisted Barrel because it was pouring rain and I totally thought it was McCay :D. Glad I did, though - it was great. Super chill, great wines (I especially loved their Symphony, though to be fair, I haven't had a Symphony I *haven't* loved), and added bonus, they had cookies out for our consumption afterwards (as well as the perfect sort of
