OC Recycling

On January 4th I came to drop off a few boxes along with some bed shelfs and the guys that work there told me they don’t accept such trash (even though they can weight it and I will just pay for it) and the guy told me he can throw it away for $10 (without weighting it) and told me to give the money to him instead of the register..? Not sure what kind of service that was but it was a rip off.

Quick Service except their cashier's...they take forever...it's like dang girl learn to count fake money before you look for a job!!!

I had a tv to drop off and another place in the area was going charge me $20 to drop it off. Here they gave me a couple bucks. Friendly staff that communicates well.

I started using this recycling facility when the one I usually used closed down. This place is much smaller and pretty run down but everyone is kind and works efficiently.

Great place to recycle - fast and friendly service. Long line of people moves quickly. Hardest part about recycling is not smiling when they hand you money $$$

Great place to recycle plastic bottles and aluminum cans. My only complaint would be people sorting their recyclables in the parking lot, which takes up a parking spot for a long period of time. If people would just sort their stuff at home (driveway, backyard, car port, etc.) instead of at OC Recycling's parking lot, throughput would be much better.

Always quick in and out. They take all sorts of scrap metal and ewaste.

Very disappointed with their prices. Definitely trying out another place. 0.09 cents per pound on aluminum. Should have just brought a can of Coca Cola. Brought in 412 pounds of aluminum (dirty) not including the 100 pounds they removed. 100 ? Really ? Maybe the bolts were the only thing not aluminum on there along with a few wheels. Not enough to make 100 pounds though. Then I thought maybe the dolly I used ? Except I can easily pick it up without hesitation.
Try out another place I highly recommend it.

I have been going here for about over 8 years. I mainly recycle electronics and I find their services easy to use and the staff helpful. Customer service has improved over the years and today was top. The only complaint I have is that the reception/payment windows need upgraded speakers, it is super hard to hear the staff.

Unfortunately the woman who works in the trailer who gives you your money is very rude. She is very condescending. I will definitely be going to a different recycling center from now on.

Great place to recycle and love that there's always coupons available to get maybe a few cents more or dollars more. Music is good, staff is awesome, and only downside is that the parking lot is kind of small. So it's better to go when it isn't busy 🙂

Yes, it's not a very big place, but its ok.

They open every 7 days a week, which is so convenient for the residents, the people in site patient and very helpful .

After my usual recycling center closed last yr, I found this place. Whole process was relatively quick and easy. It is a bit out of the way for me but I had such a pleasant experience that Im willing to make the drive.

Quick and convenient. The staff are nice and helpful. There's enough space to accommodate multiple parties at once. Brought a few bags of bottles and cans to recycle and was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

This place gets the job done, you place your bottles and cans in these big trash cans they weigh them and you get your money for recycling. Easy process and a sink to wash your hands.

I always go here. The people here are friendly. Good service. Great prices! They pay more for aluminum cans. They speak English and Spanish . I recommend this place

I give this place a 1 star rating because they used to pay out more. Mind you that I have been coming to this pave for nearly 2 years. Now for the past 3 to 4 weekends. I have taken the same amount of large bags of bottles when i used to average 24 dollars & now the most i get is between 16 to 18 dollars. They write down a number & hand it to you instead of printing it out. They may very well be ripping people off in that manner.
I will NEVER EVER go back there whatsoever. I don't recommend for no 1 to ever go there, unless anybody likes to get ripped off.

NOT GOOD!! When I left on my previous visit, I felt that I had been taken advantage of on both the weight and the price per pound for my aluminum cans. This time I called and talked to a representative there and I asked if their company accepted coupons from another facility and the reply was yes for the face value of the coupon. When I brought my cans two days later the story changed and I received $.20 per pound less than the face value of the coupon.

Well came here for the first time a few months ago with my crazy alcoholic woman beater boyfriend..thankfully hes now fired as the donald says!...anyway penny pinching coupon cutting indiot brought all his empty bud lite cans here and he got I think 60.00 or 70.00 at the time...anyway i remembered this place so i came here with empty water bottles.juice bottles...etc...saved about four tall kitchen bags full of plastic and brought them here....this place isnt clean or tidy but hey I dont think you will find fluff at any recycle place..when you pull in expect it to be small there are a few spots
