We provide Recycling, Data Destruction services, IT Asset Disposition / Recovery and more! We offer easy step by step processes for every type of recycling that you would like to do with us. We are here to serve you! You may try several DIYs for destroying old hard drives. But no such method would guarantee reliable destruction.
RFL offers on-site destruction of hard drives with a pneumatic punch. This tool punches holes in your hard drive, rendering it useless. Our Data Destruction is free for over 50 hard drives at a time. Your hard drive can later be taken to an EPA-certified destruction facility for shredding. The world is generally moving towards a policy of recycling over replacement.

Services
Electronic waste or e-waste is a name given to used or outdated electronic devices and the data they contain. For example, old computers, data tapes, televisions, software, etc. At RFL, we accept almost all used electronic items that qualify as technological devices. If you have a basic understanding of what these are, you would be aware of the vast list of equipment that you may contact us for.
Hard drives are small, sturdily-built devices fixed in your laptop or computer. These electro-mechanical objects can store a large volume of data and information. The hard drives are made with the aim of making them almost indestructible. They're immune to several factors such as harsh weather and strong physical impact.
A laptop battery is never as long-lasting as you would want it to be. With an estimated lifespan ranging from 2 to 7 years, it seems quite insufficient when compared with the investment made in a good-quality laptop. The duration may vary slightly due to factors like usage, care, and maintenance, product brand, etc.
E-waste recycling is fast gaining popularity in many developed countries. The task is often taken up at the union council level to ensure the minimization of toxic waste. What's even more encouraging is that the cause has also been adopted by the private sector. Both businesses and consumers are increasingly realizing the importance of services like data destruction and electronic waste recycling.

After getting quite a few of their unsolicited emails, I responded with our address, a list of our e-waste, and a request that they confirm the date so that we could have it all ready. We got neither a confirmation email or a visit, bu a couple of weeks later we got another of their announcements.
We pay a small fee to a local recycler to pick up from us, we'll just stick with them.

I have been working with recycle for life in Tustin for a few years started when they were in Lake Forest. They are very profesional, friendly and hard workers. when it comes to recycling our E-waste they are our togo company. I had the equivalent of three pallets of computers, phones etc.
They set up an appointment and like always were right on time.

They reached out to me via email for recycling and responded to my email for an appointment in a timely manner. Not sure how they got my email, but glad they found me.
They came to pickup with in the timeframe proposed. I had a huge business grade printer that they were able to haul out plus other large items.
No complaints here.

Been using Recycle for Life for about 4 years now and they've always been very professional and friendly when they come to pick up our E-Waste at the office. They never forgot about an appointment and send us a receipt of items that we recycled. I haven't had a bad experience with them so I would definitely recommend you reach out to them for E-Waste services.

I receive e-mails from Keith, sometimes on a weekly basis asking if we have any pick-ups we need. I reached out to him 3 weeks ago, replying to his e-mail asking to schedule a pick up. This e-mail was never responded to. I reached out again when I received another generic e-mail from Keith asking if we had any pick-ups, and again I mentioned we would like to have a pick-up done. This e-mail was responded to, but AFTER the pick up date that he was suggesting, so we missed another pick-up. He apologized, and asked if he can come and pick it up the following week. I agreed to this, and sent
