Like most veterinarians, Dr. Jan Chipperfield has always loved animals. As a child, she drove her parents crazy bringing home stray dogs and cats, rabbits and any other critter who crossed her path. Born and raised in Kirkwood, MO, Dr. Chip graduated from Kirkwood High School in 1981 and received her BS in Physical Education from Southeast Missouri University in 1985.

Dr. Chip is the warmest, sweetest, most personable vet, I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I was there to say goodbye to my puppers. She was so compassionate and reassuring. She gave me as much time as I needed and sat in the floor with us while I said goodbye. She treated my baby and I both as friends. I have never been so at easy when euthanizing a beloved pet, I’m truly grateful for Dr Chip.

Awesome place! I needed a new vet after moving for my girls and this was the closest to my new home. The staff absolutely adores my pups, and the feeling is mutual - even my Belgian Shepherd who normally is not fond of strangers. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Dr. Chipperfield is an amazing vet! She is both smart and caring. She was able to diagnose an illness in my dog when I’d waited years to find an answer. She also gets down in the floor with dogs to put them at ease. Her rapport with animals is amazing. She’s good with people, too! :-)

I normally don't go out of my way to leave reviews, but we have been going here for over a year and this hospital, the doctors, and staff, are truly incredible. They are very busy but when I call concerned about a rash on my dog or bump, they always tell me I can email a photo, they've even found a time to somehow squeeze her in when we had a mini-emergency and she hurt her leg. The veterinarians and staff truly care, are SO knowledgeable, and kind. I know the vet industry is crazy right now with all of the new pet ownership, curbside service, and the day to day compassion fatigue these amazing

Let me start off by saying saying my dogs are my life. I put their needs over my own. When my vet told me she was moving out of state I was panic stricken. She recommended Dr. Chipperfield. I was very nervous at first because I won't just anyone to take care of my girls. Within seconds of meeting Dr. Chip all my worries went away. I can't say enough good things about her. She is so loving and caring. I can tell that she truly cares about all her patients. I don't live close to the office but I don't care. I will drive hours because Dr. Chip is the best. I recommend her to everyone I know with pets

Finding this group of people has taken such a load off of my shoulders. I just happen to see their sign while I was driving down Dorsett and decided to stop in and check it out. Everyone here is just fantastic. I haven't felt completely comfortable with any other facility since my previous vet retired years ago. I truly feel I can trust everyone here to take good care of my two girls. And I don't feel pressured to run unneeded tests, nor am I charged ridiculous amounts just because they know I'll do almost anything to keep my girls healthy. I just can't say enough good things about this facility
