The experience I had living here was not very good. I don't want to completely blame the property manager, Megan, because she was responsive to all my issues and I could tell she wanted to help, but unfortunately, they allow anybody to live there: from noisy, disrespectful and obnoxious Tech students, to people that don't have manners and don't know the concepts of mutual respect, common sense, and mindfulness in an apt complex. Maintenance is good, the property is well kept to some extend but I do not recommend this place.

If I could give 0 stars I would. There has been an abundance of break ins my vehicles have been hit twice and management has done nothing to increase security. They haven’t even made other residents aware of these break ins. According to the Lubbock crime map there’s been 6 in a month and still nothing from management. Avoid living here unless you like your stuff taken.

Escondido was very accommodating and nice during the move in process and during my time there for 2 years. I didn't have any issues during my time in my apartment. If any maintenance issues came up, the staff was very prompt with their response and maintenance came fairly quickly to address my issue. Sadly, the facade of service and helpfulness ended when I moved out. After asking about the move out procedure and what needed to be done, a passive response from the staff indicated the apartment needed to be "presentable", providing NO details of cleaning efforts. This is perhaps one of the best apartments that I have lived in. Escondido definitely made my stay in Lubbock, TX feel a bit more like "home." The apartments are great and overall, the neighbors are friendly and quiet. Furthermore, the property managers and front office staff are pleasant and great to work with. If I didn't move out of state, I would certainly continue to call Escondido home. I will miss the great price and amenities that Escondido offers!

I have loved living at Escondido. I have lived here 9 months and haven't had any issues. The management is very helpful and always answers any questions promptly. They are very pet friendly and in a great location. The only downside is the one bedroom floorplans don't have any extra storage other than the one walk in closet, but that certainly isn't a deal breaker. There is a construction site across from my apartment that is sometimes loud but that won't be there much longer!

I loved living at this apartment complex! One of the most dog friendly complexes I have have ever had the good fortune to be a resident. Well maintained apartments with an amazing office staff who are always around and willing to answer questions to one of the most helpful maintenance employees. I lived here for over two years and if I was not moving I would have have resigned for a third time.

Really enjoyed living here! The apartments themselves are pretty much brand new, so I never had any real maintenance issues. The layout of the complex is really close to the loop, but set behind a park so you never hear major traffic noises. The staff is super friendly and professional, and overall very easy to communicate with. The pool area is pretty and has nice places to sit and hang out, and the gym has all the basics. Residents are primarily young professionals, so never heard any partying or loud obnoxious people. Probably one of my favorite aspects of Escondido is the proximity to the park

The staff is friendly and attentive. The pool and fitness facilities are well taken care of and clean. I haven't had a single problem with pests since moving in over a year ago. And the apartments themselves are so modern and feel so open with the wonderfully high ceilings. As a Tech graduate student I think this is a great, affordable, peaceful place to live.

I moved into this apartment complex in June and while it is new and updated, the experience has been painful and the front office staff has been difficult to work with. The AC has been broken for almost an entire month and they have been less than courteous about inconveniencing me with maintenance issues not caused by me. The apartment is falling apart and the staff at Escondido could care less about my personal losses. I would suggest you look elsewhere- this complex doesn't care enough to be given your money.
